Doubt it. If Lopez's feet and speed give Loma those types of problems, Haney who is even quicker of hand and foot would give Loma similar issues, if not more. I will say that Loma's best chance at these guys is to do a Hopkins and maul them. Haney, like Lopez, doesn't seem to have much inside game. He seems to clinch instead of infight.
As if Lomachenko is some type of king. You all built him up like a guy that would beat a 130, or 135 pound Floyd. Loma looked real good against midgets, plodders, old men, and guys who weren't that good. He gets in there with guys his size and he starts having trouble when they have a little skill. He goes from pound for pound #1 to ball gobblers saying he needs to move down, the beloved Loma is too small. A real pound for pound #1 would have beaten Lopez clearly. Loma was more Lopez' size than lil Rigo was Donaire's size.
A young fighter may run his mouth, it's part of the game. I agree that fighting Gamboa is a joke of a fight. It does nothing for Haney at all. He's still real young, but he's good enough that he should only be fighting top 10 guys.
