Well it'd be quite the conspiracy. It's more likely to me that he had an injury that requires treatment and that his own arrogance prevented him from thinking it'd be a factor before the first fight.

 

Yeah I mean if you get injured during a match that's one thing. To take an injury into a match then use it as an excuse afterward I lose respect for any fighter that does that.

2 things. Money talks and strangers things have happened. Watching the fight, he didn't even throw a punch from the opening round. He was using it to block and feint, but not punch. O, was he that injured before the fight even started? Now, if he had throw punches for 3-4 rounds and stopped, then I might be more inclined to believe it. Actually, I hope he's not hurt. To many injuries. Especially after a long lay off.

 

It did look to me like Fimo hit him a few good times on that shoulder. I honestly think any injury to chenko happened during the fight.

Seems to me like he thought he could beat Lopez carrying a few knocks. He was arrogant and got what he deserved. I've not said anything other than that but for you to think that he should have to have secret surgery to treat an injury is ridiculous IMO.

This sells the fight to the public and gives Lopez all the more motivation to shut him up for good in a lucrative rematch. Sounds good to me.
