It's actually neither. Fact of the matter is, Loma had surgery, and lost to the better fighter. The loma haters are just being little stinky twats because they think it means Lopez would lose to a healthy Loma. That's not even entirely true.

But another FACT of the matter is, neither side has a freaking clue. There's clearly trolling here, but if one applies a little common f'n sense, they would understand if Loma was 100% healthy, he would likely be a different fighter that night. And you know who else would be? Lopez. Because then he'd have tailored his game plan in accordance to what he was seeing that night. It's silly to think only one of them would look different. But that's how it is here. Fanboys gonna fanboy and trolls gonna troll.

Drenlou's such a mental midget he needs a 10 foot ladder just to tie his shoes. He wouldn't get 1+1 if you spotted him the answer beforehand.

Dont get your beef. Loma was in fact injured during the fight. TL is still the winner and the injury doesnt take from a great win. No excuses. You sound very insecure. TL is a great young fighter.

I didn't get why you posted a quote of mine as if it had contradicted what I said earlier when it clearly didn't.

If he had an injured shoulder leading up to the fight. He shouldn't have been playing tennis, basketball, fishing and doing hand stands.

Im sure the injury is real. I question its severity. I have my doubts it was bad enough to influence the fight in a truly meaningful way.

Now we know. Like CST80 posted, he should've pulled out of the fight and rescheduled.

On the mains some are comparing Lopez to Duran  Why, because he beat a naturally smaller opponent?

No man is going to undergo surgery unless theres an injury & no surgeon is going to fake doing the surgery. The only person I know that claimed a torn rotator cuff injury that never received surgery was Floyd against Castillo 1. I guess it was Leonard's caresses healed Floyd's :eaea::risas3::risas3: lol

ok this is roughly how i perceived our exchange. you challenged the idea that the injury shouldnt be kept secret. i felt it should have, because loma gave his word he was fit to fight, and yet he wasnt. claiming he was injured now, after the tarnishing, is unfair to the man he told he was ready for. thereby tarnishing the victory of the man who was true to the game. you then claimed it would only sell the rematch much more, yet teo is still tarnished. i suggested saying he was injured during the fight, so teo dont get cheated, and he keeps all the buyers for the next fight. you replied that you prefer truth, which made no sense to me since the whole situation stems from loma being dishonest about his readiness. i replied with something to the effect of saying if we are championing truth, we should start with loma, cause you wrote you were happy with the way it turned out, even though it was lomas incorrect self assessment that created the mess. you suggested he really didnt know how bad it really was, like it makes a difference to the truth youre asking for.
now i see a contradiction in your reasoning and said so. if nobody saw any contradictions in that exchange, then i will have to go back and see where i fell off. but its pretty plain to the way i percieved it.

The same ones you'd have if this were Canelo using this as his defense.;) I mean... like I said in the OP, Loma should have pulled out of the fight, it was idiotic to take on such a task with one good shoulder, that being said, it explains why he was so apprehensive to throw early, because bowing it out completely in the first or second, nothing good would come of it, it may have even led to a TKO loss for him, but he waiting around until he thought he could make it to the final bell, let Teo have it as much as possible, probably blew it out the rest of the way and now had to have surgery. But as I said, still damn impressive if this is the case that he did as well as he did.
