An excuse is a heavy vest

Not shoulder surgery. That's a legit hinderance.

Exactly.. If there was any injury it happened during the fight. Fimo was hitting him in the chest with hard punches fir sure. That could have cause the injury

See this thread has attracted the absolute scum of the forum, all in here like grubby little maggots, writhing gleefully in the loss of a handicap fighter fighting a man 3 weight classes bigger :ohno

Lots of fighters have nagging injuries and enter fights in less that 100% health, win the fight, and go and get surgery afterwards. This is part of the game.

Lomachenko might have had something like that, or he might have injured himself during the fight, or been injured by Lopez during the fight, maybe.

But really, he didn't look obviously injured at any point. He held his hands up through the first half of the fight in the same guard he always uses, and continued in the second half while also throwing and landing snappy punches.
Where are all the immediate post fight "He was obviously injured" threads ?
"His arm looked hurt", "His shoulder looked shot", "He couldn't punch ! Obviously tore his cuff !" .... how many of even the most die hard excuse making Loma fans were saying that ?
We've all seen fights where we can SEE the shoulder has gone or the hand is hurting, and this one didn't look like that, if we're honest.

And like I said, we've seen great fighters to WIN with obvious injuries, and we've seen ordinary fighters WIN and then get non-obvious injuries fixed.

Loma will make Lopez say "no mas" in the rematch.

That's a shame. Credit to him for not pulling out of the fight but he should have. He probably didn't expect Lopez to be so active with the jab and body shots in the early rounds that his 2nd half flurry would have been enough to get it done.

Remember the hate and ridicule David Haye rightly received with the toegate injury post Wlad ?? Well Loma should be getting the same.

They now call Haye the Toemaker, Loma is now Shoulderchenko.

That's not it. It's about the excuse making that turns people off. I stated numerous times before the fight may the best man win and the winner deserves full credit no excuses. Even after the fight I said I hope loma can come back and he's still great. When the excuses started rolling in it changed my tune. I dont like excuses or excuse makers. If 1 hour before the fight lomas mother died and he went out and fought and lost that would be a legit excuse but this shoulder is not one sorry. I'm still a loma fan I don't like his excuse making double standard having fans who have previously bashed other fighters for making excuses after losing. Im consistent.

Haha but in fairness you can't exactly put Loma's injury on par with the Toe. Nothing ever will touch Toe-gate.

Well what do ya know, another weak excuse. Too convenient for my taste. That's gonna be these guys excuses from here on out when they lose. Oh, I had a bad shoulder, I couldn't throw. He miscalculated, underestimated TL. You could tell by that tan he wasn't training in the gym. He was more interested in basking in the beautiful California sun and admiring all the ladies we have in abundance out here, to be worried about Lopez. Fake news! There is no injury. Loma is trying to please his base. Don't fall for it.
