Loma is more talented than Thurman IMO. But Thurman definitely has more courage and nuts in the ring. Loma ran away from Lopez. It was really disappointing to see. Thurman is more of a man than Loma.
Lopez holds all the belts, won against at the time the p4p best, what is there to be disappointed about. If Lopez after winning the early rounds then followed your suggestion of "FORCE THE ACTION, WALK THE MOFO DOWN, AND GO FOR THE KILL" had then caught a lucky ko punch from Loma he would have been called foolhardy. Why change a successful plan, it worked throughout the fight, he was not going to get a extra belt or winning bonus by going for the kill.
I thought Lopez fought a great fight, his body shots were working, he wasnt afraid and he deservedly got the nod.
It's the fight game. I like big, dense, hairy, low hanging balls. I like war machines like Inoue. I would be massively disappointed if a 30 year Pac didn't press the action against a 40 year old Santa Cruz or Miguel Berchelt. Impressed, but not impressed. It is what it is.

Pac took a tremendous beating in his win over Thurman, Lopez did not in his win over Loma. Lopez was in full control he didn't need to go for the kill, he also turned it up in the 12th when he needed to. Lopez fought a brilliant fight for his first major fight against the #1 or #2 P4P fighter in the world. This criticism is unwarranted and lastly everything does not lead back to Pac my friend and Lopez isn't Pac. Pac is great in his own right and doesn't need to be mentioned here.

If you were impressed by Lopez, cool. I was and wasn't.
That's not fair Loma has a different style than Thurman and was in with a banger who was the bigger man.
And Pac took heavy shots, but never looked hurt. Lopez took a few arm punches from Loma and looked to be in trouble.
My thoughts almost exactly except Loma actually started walking him down a bit and pushing him back. He did rally in the 12th like a champ mind you It was a little bit great of a performance but not amazing, Tank would have knocked them both in to the bleachers
Teo needed to play it smart the whole way. He (and his team) respected Loma much more than he lets on. As a young man, he's still gaining experience. Also the Pac-Thurman fight was different imo, Thurman didn't fight for 2 years and only had 1 tune up fight. Pac wasn't as complete as when he was younger.
He did what he needed to win. Any other storyline is secondary to the result. Loma will be fine, there's no need to drag Teo down to feel better about Loma losing.
