Does Usyk need a KO to win?

Seems like he could be the last obstacle for AJ v Fury.

I think he’s comprehensively outpoint Chisora if he wanted to. From a momentum/reputation POV a KO would be good.

It would prove he can KO a genuine heavyweight too - negate the lingering doubts about his power. I think he’ll do it too, might be similar to Fury vs Chisora 2.

I was more alluding to the fact that he is in the way the biggest money fight in boxing and may need a KO jist to get a win.

It is Matchroom, yes, but even for them Dereck Chisora outpointing Oleksandr Usyk would be ludicrous. I can't see it.

Usyk can't stop the Fury-AJ fight going ahead. He can only demand to challenge next for the WBO, I think.

The WBO was called ages ago. They surley can't go back on that?

Usyk can accept step aside payment (although he said he wouldn't)
    OR
    AJ can dump the belt.

The WBO can only guarantee Usyk the shot at their title, not a fight with AJ, that's what I mean.

I’d put all of my money on the winner of Usyk/Chisora meeting the winner of Parker/Fa for the vacated WBO title.

I think it depends on how Usyk looks against Chisora.
If he struggles at all, if he looks very beatable, Hearn and AJ will probably say they have no intention of dumping any belt and the Fury fight will be put off again to deal with Usyk.
If Usyk looks really good, they'll go straight for the Fury one, whether it means dumping a belt or whatever.

This has to be one of the worst PPV’s ever put on. Main event that shouldn’t be on PPV and a very weak undercard.

This is surely going to flop. It’s one of the worst PPV’s Sky have ever put together. It’s clearly not caught the imagination of people on here. Selby running for his life in the co-main. Allen fighting a pudding with a padded record. Farooq against a 15-12-4 record and a couple of lady fights.

Whilst Halloween is pretty much off this year, there will still be loads of people drinking and bobbing for apples. I hope it sells dreadfully.

Classic PPV matchmaking strategy this though, following the AJ and Whyte models. You stick all their fights on PPV undercards, with just the occasional fight on regular Sky. Then, people are used to watching them on PPV so bat less of an eyelid when they start headlining PPVs themselves in what are essentially PPV undercard fights.

Worked for AJ, and seems to have worked for Whyte. Chisora is next, with Buatsi, Dave Allen and Katie Taylor the next off the PPV grooming machine.
