Cracking fight. Credit to MTK and everybody involved for reaching a fair agreement for all parties. Taylor made a great decision to join Top Rank and not Matchroom
If Taylor had joined Matchroom, he'd currently be hanging around, like Callum Smith and Saunders, eventually fighting the guy he fought the other week, but 9 months later.
Can't wait. I've seen suggestions Ramirez might not be getting fully respected, but I feel that goes both ways. When will people learn that although Taylor CAN box but he is a high skilled, pressure fighter who operates best mid-close. He can box Ramirez or fight him, he'll prob do both and mix it up to keep Ramirez guessing. But lets get one things straight, I've listened to the whole Taylor wins boxing, Ramirez wins in a fight because Ramirez has Mexican style and Taylor is from UK where it's generally boxers. Taylor has a chin, will, physical attributes to match Jose. He just has more savvy, craft and nuance within his style. Ramirez pressure and output must be respected, and he clearly has a left hook but overall. Taylor has dealt with everything Jose Ramirez can throw at him, I envisage Taylor winning on points or maybe a late TKO to the body
Brilliant fight! I think Taylor will win and possible stop Ramirez late in a tough and entertaining fight. He has more tools at his disposal and is better than Ramirez in nearly all departments in my opinion.
Love it. Style wise I think Ramirez will land more than he did against Postol but he's going to be getting ripped to the body in return.
Ramirez has struggled in fights but always come through, though Taylor was under it vs Prograis too. Good good fight.
Ramirez definatly has a chance but I have to favour TTT. I just think he'll pick up more rounds as he has a better toolbox. In fact I'd be surprised if Taylor got beat tbh
Ramirez doesn't have a chance, Taylor is the far better fighter. Only thing Ramirez has going for him is the corrupt USA judges.
Great fight! And good clash of styles I think Taylor will get the win, faster hands and better at adapting. I also see prograis beating Ramirez
