Novice Luis Collazo had already done a job on the Rickster, the first non-old man he'd ever fought (and away from such home comforts for first time)

Robin Reid, wow, remember him Vs Ottke?

Wasn't funny at the time, still isn't really but watching it now is just incredible, you have to laugh at the blatant corruption.

Reid being given warnings for punching, actually punching... referee Tilleman basically saying "DONT PUNCH YOUR OPPONENT OR I WILL TAKE POINTS"

Didn't call a perfectly good knockdown, took a point from Reid because Ottke head butted Reid.

Without doubt the worst refereeing performance I've ever witnessed, without a doubt, makes Terry O'Connor look legit.

Tbf it was a better performance than most against floyd. Marquez...guerrero...mosley with the exception of one punch...gatti...and a lot more come to mind. Hatton gave it his all went forward all night...unlike a lot of mayweather opponents that seemed to give up the idea of winning after a couple of rounds.

Hatton caused him problems with his footspeed. Its just that it turned out floyd was actually stronger than him. Think the 147 played a part in that and cortez never helped either.

As everyone knows floyd was on his own level tho. But that could have and should have been an even more interesting fight.

Honestly Cortez did him a favour by not allowing him to wrestle (or attempt to), because Floyd would've hurt him bad with uppercuts and body shots - the ones that really do lasting damage (brain rattling uppercuts and organ rupturing body blows with the free hand).

Hatton wasn't even much inside, his game was in and out coming up and simply leaping in to hold on at the higher level (which isn't infighting - that's what you do when you can't infight). Floyd had longer arms to outwrestle him had Cortez allowed that garbage.

Rocky Fieldings title win in Germany is quite underrated

    Murray vs Martinez

robbed he was, even the argie tv card had him up by 2 going into the last

going to Buenos Aires and pulling out that type of Performance vs a PFP rated fighter

gotta be up there with the best even if he didn’t get the nod

Carl Froch vs Arthur Abraham - Abraham was the favourite and a beast at that time. Froch gave him a boxing lesson

David Haye vs Jean Marc Mormeck - the day Haye arrived on the world scene

Martin Murray vs Sergio Martinez in Buenos Aires Martinez was in the top 3 P4P at the time.Murray was robbed of one of the best british wins overseas ever. Excellent performance.

@Bulldog24 Tszyu was p4p number 2 at the time Hatton beat him. Easy to discredit a win afterwards.

Maidana beat the **** out of your boy. Most refs would have stopped the fight that round Maidana was just beating him up brutally and Khan was cowardly running around the ring not throwing a single pinch back on chicken dancing legs.

Mike Costello discussed this on his BBC podcast some months ago and this was his pick.
