Nope.. Tank has ducked all stiff challengers around him for 3 years and Leo stop taking risky fights after the Frampton fights.. PPV was never meant to reward guys who have a long list of fighters they have ducked in there own divisions to fight each other.
My prediction? Simple if Leo can take Tanks punch, hes got a chance. We dont know if Tank can adapt to consistent pressure. On october 31st we will see.
That's funny i had just finished both episodes a few minutes ago. It is ironic how similar their upbringing has been. Both have a lot of people who believe in them and this a big do or die crossroads fight. If Leo wins he has a chance at glory and he may become the next great Mexican legend. Davis has to prove he isn't just some hype job taking down carefully selected opponents. Both guys are supremely confident and have somewhat similar styles. Neither man can really take a step back. Volume vs power. I think Leo's intense work rate and experience will be the 2 deciding factors. If Davis starts to fade by the 9th he definitely loses. However if Davis can hurt Leo and/or match his pace or make Leo fight at Davis' pace, Leo will need to have a plan B. Davis being the younger stronger guy will have the advantage if it becomes an all out war. Foot speed won't ve a factor as they will likely be right in front of each other. Davis has more snap and raw hand speed while Leo is a better combination puncher. Both seem too be durable guys and neither have been stopped. I think it'll be a great fight and potential fight of the year candidate. Hard to say who wins.
Leo is looking good rn. People are talking bout estrada vs cuadras as foty.. Wait till next week to make your case. This is going to be a good one.
Good fight, but these are two guys who ducked everyone else. So I don´t really care at all. If the PPV flops, like it should, then I don´t see the winner stepping up anytime soon.
I'm looking forward to it. Some big question marks going to be answered between LSC and Tank. Regis also on that night so I can't wait. Although I'm not too familiar with his opponent.
Um, every top guy since January 2017. The last time Emo Cruz fought someone of high caliber, was Frampton. Since then, Emo has done nothing. Absolutely nothing. Well, he had that pointless rematch with Mares.
He is in a similar boat. Just waits for the WBC to mandate a fight. In the mean time, he talks a mean game and a lot of ****. JoJo and Tug were OK mandatories.
He’s in the same boat but at least he’s been at Leo’s neck for 3 years and Leo flat out refused to face him.. And Gervonta has really layed an egg since beating Pedraza they been exclusively moving up feather fisted 126 lbs fighters to fight him since (Leo, Abner, Cuellar etc..) Meanwhile he just let Teo come in and swoop up the Loma fight immediately after winning his first belt.. Like it’s easy to compare him to Broner but he hasn’t even reached Broner’s peak yet at the same age..
