He looked fine in the second half of the fight. His shoulder almost definitely isn't the reason he gave away at least six of the first seven.
Has anyone here ever had an actual shoulder injury? The fact that so many think Loma could have fought 12 rounds with a shoulder that was injured so badly it needed surgery and showed no visible signs of pain or restriction of movement is mind blowing. Major shoulder injuries are completely debilitating
And it might be an elective surgery from a longstanding injury. You need to read my post a lot more closely if you think you just debunked it.
Yes, I tore my rotator cuff. No athletic activity was happening for months after that. I did not do surgery and it functions now but I’m sure it would get sore if I pushed it really hard.
It depends on the problem. There is not one type of shoulder injury - in fact, it's the most complex joint in the body and its complications are extensive. People say this sort of thing regarding back injuries, too. I don't know exactly what the surgery was for, but many shoulder injuries take a lot of time to rehabilitate. Furthermore, it takes an athlete a lot of time to regain confidence and for good reason. Many athletes end up having countless recurring shoulder injuries and subsequent operations. Looking at the stitches, it looks more severe than your typical arthroscopic entry via either the posterior or anterior deltoid location.
It looks like it was a less severe injury than the labrum tear he had in 2018 but also was adjacent to that surgical site. To Loma's credit, he has not been vocal about spinning this into an excuse for the loss. https://www.cbssports.com/boxing/ne...r-losing-lightweight-titles-to-teofimo-lopez/
Were both his left and right shoulders injured? Because he didn't throw either one for almost 7 straight rounds.
Are u fkin stupid or something?!: This content is protected This content is protected Do you think that hospital room & procedure was staged (especially amidst the Covid pandemic) for your benefit? . did they hire somebody in from Lucasfilm or was it the same guys that staged the alien autopsy? Do you think that the Linares one was staged too? There's photos of that as well.. Lomas spent his entire lightweight run with a fked up shoulder , & was still only inches away from unifying.. don't blame Loma that 'he let you down'.. blame yourself for being such a shallow fickle little ***** who jumps ship because of ONE loss LOL
Excuses excuses excuses. If that was a Mexican they'd tell him to change his socks, hydrate, and hand him a motrin and he would be back in the ring going cyclic on his opponent like nothing happened. Brittle little man.
The camps have physios, strength and conditioning coaches, boxing trainers, 'chemists' etc etc a whole range of experts with one singular role and focus and that is to get the champ in the ring performing at his optimum, so i am sure a doctor was available too but apparently Loma did not tell anyone during training of how serious his shoulder issue was, WTF. A champion entering a fight for all 4 titles with such a serious shoulder issue either has a severe psychological issue, a desire to lose, or the shoulder was not as bad as stated postfight. Having a operation does not necessarily mean shoulder was cause of loss, it could well have been elective surgery, which Loma could have had done at any convenient time.
I was going to muster up a reply & then I realised why bother, you've done all the leg work for me here: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...ovych-lomachenko-an-atg.632523/#post-19931571 Facile little man.
