Frazier doesn't even see round 3.
    Tyson obliterates him by KO.
Tyson is faster, stronger, has 2 KO hands, a better chin and a much better defense.

I see it as a stretch cause Tyson is just a superior version of Frazier.

Nobody said that they were harder 1 punch KO artists than Tyson.
Tyson was more skilled; even if we do not consider his devastating combinations, he more *skilled*, fast & accurate at landing single blows than all of those.
Ironically maybe young Lewis was about as good as that...

But neither hit as HARD as a few other boxers, including the 3 I mentioned that Tyson fought a total of 5 times: Bonecrusher, Razor & Bruno.

How would PRIME Tyson fare against:

Dempsey: 3rd round ko of Dempsey in a GREAT fight to watch.

Louis: Mike nearly gets a knock down of Joe, but Louis pulls himself together and blitzes him with freeky combinations. Mike knocked out in 9 at the very most.

Marciano: Great fight! Marciano would make it to the final bell, but Mike UD.

Liston: Mike tries to make this into a fierce brawl, but Liston's lack of intimidation psychs him out, his stoicism in the eye of the storm befoozles him. Liston's jab starts finding the mark, and in the 6th Mike gets floored and stopped.

Frazier: FOTC Frazier gets knocked down in the early rounds and generally doesn't look too good, but he messes with Mike mentally but getting up and clapping his gloves together, looking as though he never went down. Still, Joe loses the first four rounds, and starts getting literally beat up at the end of the fourth (two judges make it a 10-8 for Mike). In the sixth Mike is slowing down while Joe is warmed up. Within 11 Mike's hands are lowering drastically and he's getting hit with the left hook at will. The ref stops it with Mike's eyes rolling up in his head.

Foreman: Mike is a little freeked by Foreman's intimidation tactics at the stare down, and almost immediatley starts getting pushed and twisted around, physically bullied. His punches are being parried, though he gets a nice overhand right in that stops George in his tracks for a moment in the first round. Then Foreman starts using his jab and employing the uppercut. Mike goes down at the end of the round and isn't looking great walking back to his corner. In the second Mike comes out to kill and lands a hook-right combination that staggers George and makes him hold. Mike tries to do his hook/uppercut combo while inside but Foreman regains his robotic composure, shoves him away, and starts bombing him. Most of the punches miss due to Mike's great defense, but an uppercut nearly takes his head off, literally lifting him off his feet. He falls hard. Mike gets up at 8 but he's on bad legs. He answers well enough for the fight to resume, but Foreman does his walking-hook and Mike is done just over halfway through round 2.

Shavers: Earnie's there to fight, but Mike's defense is just too good to be bothered. Earnie actually gets a good hook in, but Mike ultimately runs him over and stops him toward the end of round one.

Lyle: Mike finds a way to get to Lyle early, and Ron takes some serious punishment, going down in the second round. Mike gets weirded out when Lyle gets back up, albeit shakily, and stops the former in his tracks with a huge right hand, staggering Mike and ruining his finishing assault. As the fight progresses Mike hands out a beating to Ron but can't put him down again...and Lyle seems to be using his very underrated jab to good effect. By the 6th round Mike is comfortably ahead but has slowed down considerably. Lyle starts to land more often in the sixth, and nearly has him out on his feet in the 7th. Mike hangs on for dear life, then in the 8th round Lyle starts sagging, his gas tank laboring. By the 9th it's Mike all the way, and he stops Ron toward the end of the round.

Cooney: Mike walks through him like butter, landing the right hand square, knocking him down, then unleashing his patented, amazing finishing ritual. Gerry doesn't hear the bell for the second round.

Bowe: Prime (Holy I) Bowe has no sign of being intimidated. At first his jab (and a little bullying and general dirty fighting) makes Mike look bad, but Bowe consistently misses his own bigger punches. Mike is staggered by a monster uppercut in the 3rd, but he starts taking more control at this point. Bowe is quite willing to fight inside, and does so effectively, but in the fifth round Mike does his classic hook to body, uppercut to head and Bowe's legs look like they're going. Mike follows the combo with a perfect left hook and Bowe is down. To his credit he gets back up and attempts to bully Mike off of him but a terrifying left hook/overhand right combination once again staggers the bigger man and the ref stops the fight...maybe a bit too early. Bowe's protestations are heard all the way on the other side of the world. In the rematch he gets outpointed.

Morrison: ha-ha poor Tommy. He might make it two rounds. Nah.

Mercer-Great fight that shoulda been! Mike UD 12.

McCall: McCall does really well in the early rounds with his jab and style, but Mike starts landing shots more as the fight progresses. By the 9th round Oliver is taking a vicious beating. A very comfortable 12 round UD for Mike.

W Klit: Late round ko for Mike. Wlad was a great fighter, but Mike was too fast and strong. Wlad might win the rematch, though.

V Klit: Mike UD in a good fight

Joshua: Joshua's range of tactics ultimately fail him. He tries punching, but gets beat to the punch. He tries boxing but Mike's defense is too sophisticated. Joshua is through in 5.

Wilder: Wilder has a lot of trouble with Mike's short-man style. He's not sure how to handle the way Mike comes in, and doesn't have a good enough of a jab to set up the crushing right. After the two rounds it's obvious he's not going to make it, though he does land a pole-axe right that backs up Mike in the 3rd...Mike comes right back on top of him. By the fifth Deontay is getting battered all over the ring and the ref stops it.

Frazier's resilience would prove Mike's end. Tyson would be mortified watching Joe shake himself off again and again...that's not what his 80s opponents usually did. Mike couldn't outlast Frazier...no.

By F. Botha's opinion the shot slow and unskilled version Tyson could punch harder than Lewis or W.Klitschko.
Tyson could knock out Botha by one punch and this version Tyson was slow and showed a very limited skill considering Botha outsmarted
    him.
Otherwise i don't know only one significant one punch ko win by the young Lewis.
I don't know who was harder puncher by your opinion but Tyson had several one punch ko wins.
    Just saying...

    No I am not.
Frazier has a good chance against out-boxers, but not against a superior version of himself in Tyson.

I would probably make him favorite against all except Louis, Liston and Foreman.

In practice though he would pick up losses elsewhere.

Nobody is getting through that field unscathed.

so...in your mind...Tyson is a swarming pressure fighter that likes to go inside?

OK please hyperlink the quote by Botha, I am happy to consider it.
Yet many times boxers reach different conclusions even when fighting the same opponents.
Sometimes guys cannot judge because they were rendered unconsious & cannot recall the KO blow-& may ,ose memory of other shots or parts of the fight.
When it seems almost universal-like from those who fought Shavers-then there is minimal doubt.

I think Tyson & Lewis, built so differently, could punch about as hard.
Reports seem to say Wlad could hit even harder.

Prime Tyson was both a counter puncher and an offensive pressure fighter.
Given that Tyson is faster, can manhandle Frazier, has a far better offense and defense, how on Earth do you ever see Frazier winning this ?!??

first I don’t find them all that similar, so not sure how Tyson is just a superior version of Frazier? I have no problem with a Tyson pick...but they have few similarities to me.
    Frazier was a slower starter.
Frazier liked to get in close and fight inside, where as Tyson seemed to need more space to operate from mid range.
Frazier was an attrition puncher where Tyson has bad intentions from the start.
Frazier’s workrate and endurance are superior IMO and he got stronger later in the fight in contrast to Tyson.

how can I pick Frazier? To me there are 2/3 likely scenarios.
1 Tyson is to strong and hurts Frazier early, never allowing Frazier to get in stride. Tyson stops him 5 or maybe earlier.
2 Frazier weathers the storm and begins to chip away. Tyson gets frustrated and Frazier takes control in the later rounds and wins a decision or
3,stops Tyson late, I find this more plausible in a 15 rounder.

my pick is a Frazier decision, but I have no problem with you or anyone else picking Tyson. Your arrogance and condescending approach is a little off putting but hey you do you.
