I think you have to strike a balance. If everyone takes the "you are mugs paying that" attitude, boxing would be in trouble, especially now. If you can afford it you should contribute occasionally instead of just scabbing. But I agree that this is not ppv material, and so I personally won't be playing the PPV on this occasion.

I wonder if making a doubler header out of this and Povetkin Whyte II would have sold more PPVs and brought in more money..

Money would be saved on marketing and by having one show instead of two. A double header would do huge numbers whereas a lot of people might chose to buy one instead of both.

The undercard this weekend is too wank to justify PPV. It will probably be the same for next months PPV. Then the Joshua PPV is the month after that.

Most of us subscribe to Sky Sports and BT Sports - we are contributing and also go to shows.

Puddings Chisora and Whyte etc are multi millionaires and I am glad I did not fork out 1p to contribute to their yacht and car collection

Was going to buy this but i am a Spurs fan and thier match v Brighton is on ppv on sunday. My sky bill is already nearly £100 a month. So its another £15 for the spurs match. Then another £20 for the fight even so i will probably end up getting it.What a joke.

Guys, how high chances that Chisora might stop Usyk in distance? Opinions.

That's the key. I think 20 ukbucks is about 40 Canadian. I can't recall a PPV being that cheap since Lennox Rahman 1. If you folks in the UK pay you can look forward to 50lb PPV for fights like Fury Joshua. Boycott now, boycott often. ( don't know how to get the correct pound sign on my keyboard )

Boxing would not be in trouble, the fighters would all still be there wanting to fight. They will just become accustomed to not getting stupid amounts of money to have a fight when their level of skill doesn't warrant it

Us not paying for ppv only serves to make them put on less of them or reduce the prices of them.

I don’t know if I’d use the word free since we have to pay monthly for DAZN, but yes, if you have a DAZN subscription, you can watch it on there at no additional cost.

If you've paid for this then with complete respect you're an idiot, now, I've been an idiot myself before on a few occasions, I paid for Haye Vs Harrison, Bellew Vs Cleverly.. when I swore I wouldn't.

This is the reason they keep doing this, because people keep buying it. The moment people in big numbers stop buying these really poor PPV cards then they won't do them or won't make them PPV.

Personally I've changed my ways, it took me a while, I've decided this is now a discipline, I don't buy in to the hype, after all the years I've watched boxing, been to events and shows I should trust myself to know what is a good card and a poor card.

This is such a poor card, I wouldn't even stream it, I am interested in the Usyk fight, simply because I really like Usyk not because I think it's going to be a great fight.

I will catch the highlights on YouTube the next morning or maybe even that night, somebody will stick it up and I'll watch Usyk to see how he is looking at heavyweight with a view to him fighting AJ.

There is no way on earth I would pay £1 to watch Dave Allen, Dave Allen shouldn't be on any PPV card, not even the free to air section, he is a walking punchbag and not even British title level, the fact Hearn has made him a pet project is embarrassing not only to Hearn himself but it's embarrassing for Sky Sports Boxing.

This shouldn't be a charity event, it's suppose to be an evening of quality boxing, that's what PPV should be quality boxing.
