No doubt Ottke benefited from some gift decisions in his career but the guy really was a good fighter that was a tough out at 168. His boxing ability/IQ was off the charts and I could see him out pointing Canelo like he did against lots of dangerous opponents. My money would be on the more proven guy at 168 which was Ottke. The guy had over 300 wins as an amateur against guys like Tarver, Michael Moorer, Juan Carlos Gomez and Zsolt Ederi before going pro.
