I gave them a chance but have now trained myself to switch off as soon as Haye and Bellew talk out of their bowels.

Haye is a professional conman and Bellew simply follows the script written by Adam Smith.

    They have 2 main roles:
    1. Inform the viewers that 85/15 fights on that show are 50/50 lying to the unsuspecting viewers time and again.
    2. Flog non title, non worthy pay per puddings.

He adds absolutely no depth to that bill at all, it’s a woeful fight.

I’m going for Usyk to stop Chisora within 8 rounds. I think he’ll chin him.

I like Bellew's commentary, gives a much better break down and analysis than rest of his colleagues.

Haye is just follows script wheather its Sky or BT.

Nelson the same but less knowledgeable than Haye.

Adam smith has the most annyoing voice in boxing and has cringeworthy cliches.

Froch is full of agenda and tries too hard to be so anti matchroom. Also shocking his lack of knowledge regarding present boxers, clearly watches no boxing outside the fights he commentators on.

Paulie is still head and shoulders above any pundit.

Pretty much agree. Bellew is fine unless he’s commenting on a fight he has a vested interest in, then he becomes a bit partisan

Whilst I still think Usyk will win, he's not this unbeatable monster. His fight against Breidis was really very close and Bellew took some rounds off him until Usyk poured on the gas.

Problem is, Derrick is used to having a war so its not like he's going to be boxing off the backfoot like Bellew had to start doing. I still expect Usyk just to box rings around him like he did with Gassiev (who was really slow with footwork when he fought Uysk).

I do expect Usyk will have to work hard for the first few rounds though, probably pot shotting and getting a feel.

Yup, the not knowing what is about to happen, sitting on the edge of the couch leaning forward and almost jumping through the window when your guy comes good.

    Great stuff!!

Agree on Paulie, he probably doesn't toe the company line enough for Matchroom. For a fight like this where Chisora is a clear underdog - they'll need a very bias 'fake mates' commentary team; hence Bellew. He'll also be melodramatically jumping around if Chisora gets hurt/somehow KOs Usyk.

They're already parroting the boring line about Chisora being in the 'shape of his life' and how Usyk won't have ever faced someone 20kg heavier 'sitting on his chest' all night. It's just so predictable.

I really miss Paulie as a commentator, I like how strong his opinions are and how he doesn't just go with the flow. We've got nothing like him in this country.

If we're not being tortured by having to listen to Bellew as co commentator, we have to endure him being ringside, barking louder than anybody else, cheering his mates on whilst simultaneously drowning out the cornermen.

Can't wait for him to **** off from Sky as well.

I see this going similar to the Bellew fight to start with. Usyk slowly susses him out and then he will pepper Chisora with ease and stop him on his feet rounds 7-12. I think things may be a bit hairy for Usyk early on at times and he’ll have to be very careful if he goes for a the kill.
