People who don't do the work to protect their country aren't gonna like the results either. This could have been basically over months ago. Plenty of countries have it under control or are close. We have done close to the worst job of it. I hear about what people did in America during WW2, working together in the face of problem, not tolerating people who were shirking their part. Now skipping a few nights out and a paper mask is too much work, people believe any dumb **** they read on the internet? It's sad as hell, not the country I thought I grew up in.
just went to heb to pick up some refreshments for the weekend and did not see a single person not wearing a mask. went to walmart last week and there was some youngster in his 20s wearing a chin diaper and walking around burping, as if to throw it in everyones face. i asked politely if he could put his mask on, to which he replied "you work here?". i went from calm to nuclear in a millisecond. the look of fear in that boys face when he realized he could get dropped on his head any second, and the comments of "someone had to do it", convinced him discretion is the better part of valor. he was mumbling some choice words after i walked off, but he was doing it through his mask.
