It's funny looking up records for top female boxers. I'll look up the record for like the BoxRec female #1 in some division, and her record will be like 8 total wins over a bunch of nobodies, each with records along the lines of 1-0, 2-5, 1-10.

 

She's not backing down.

 

Is there a market in Europe ?

They have tried hard here in the US but it just hasn't sold. Men just don't have any interest in it and there is almost no female fan. I just think they are taking a financial lose on these fight and trying to please the stupid equality crowd.

 

The trouble with women's boxing is, while some of them have flashy skills, they have no power at all so every fight pans out the same, basically a knackered slugfest with loads of missing. The predictability of these fights, the complete lack of drama and the lack of depth in the divisions make it almost unwatchable for me.

She's a tough girl but it's looking like it might be over here.

 

Another female boxer that's technically ok, but lack the power to become a real force, imo.

 

It's definitely not easy for them. The one women pro fighter from my gym just recently crossed over to MMA because she can't get decent fights as a boxer. Her last fight, she drove halfway across country only to find out that her opponent didn't show. Most of them do it for the love of the sport since there really isn't any money in it.

 

That was tough to watch. Geezuz! She took this fight on short notice. Respect!

 

They should stop the fight. she is landing nothing and Ali is landing everything.
