Wilder is a real Moby but some of those pictures and some of that footage looks seriously suspect. I'd be asking question if my opponents gloves where pulling those shapes, I think anybody would.
It's an open handed flick jab from a horse hair glove that has caused it to look disturbed in a super slow mo replay. There is no controversy FFS, sort your lives out. And the one salient aspect that everyone seems to ignore is that IT WAS FROM THE FIRST FIGHT, where Fury supposedly had pillow fists. So what is the actual issue? It actually hinders Fury, another thing that everyone seems to ignore.
After all the accusations of Joshua ducking him he finally admits he was offered more money to face him than Fury. He’s a clown.
Have to quote myself here, sorry, I don't like doin that but I have to mention this, anyway, errrr, I thought the music he was talking over was added by somebody taking the pee. I laughed when I heard it, I listened to what he said, it was a load of rubbish to be honest but the question over the gloves is fair in my opinion, they do look suspect but anyway.. I didn't think for a second Wilder did that himself, WTF, talking over music like he is in some terrible film. So embarrassing, real cringeworthy stuff. Worse than the twerking, worse than the excuses, that was painful to watch again when I knew he is responsible for the music.
Hard to know what to think of this. Surely it isn’t possible to secrete an egg weight (wtf) in your gloves in top level boxing in 2020 and get away with it. Would any boxer even risk trying it? The flappy glove bit is a grey area, is anything illegal about what fury is supposed to have done there?
Funny how he talks once the rematch clause is now expired... Did the same to AJ, offered him out every time he was contacted to a fight
Wilder seems to be pointing the finger and blaming everyone for losing...bar himself. He should have been burrowed away training like a madman, but he hasn’t been. In fact, he only waited for the ship to officially sail before he said anything in the fear that Fury would insist that they did fight. Wilder needs to accept that he can’t beat a Fury, and move on with his life. Fury outboxed him in the first fight and won 9 rounds, and then walked him down and gave him a good old fashioned hiding in the second fight. As for the glove excuse, try throwing a punch in a glove with an open fist. It isn’t illegal and doesn’t provide any advantage at all. He needs to take his defeat like a man.
It has already been addressed, the fact that Wilders team were there when Fury had his hands wrapped the fact the commission then stayed with Fury in the dressing room to make sure no glove tampering etc takes place, after the ref has also checked the gloves in the dressing room when giving his talk to the fighters. Then the ref checks the gloves in the ring before the fight. The commission watch over the corner to make sure everything is good throughout the fight. Unless everyone apart from Wilder and Diaz were in on it Wilder just needs to get over the fact he got the beatdown of his life from a far better boxer and fighter. But Wilder and AJ fans will still look for excuses because they carnt see what is clearly infront of them, Fury is by far and away the best Heavyweight of his generation and no one will beat him until he retires. I did think Usyk could really cause Fury problems but after last night I think Usyk is just another good Heavy but not Elite, he probably is the best of the rest behind Fury Joshua and maybe Wilder. He was Elite at cruiser though i just think he looks far too small to hang with the giants at Heavy. I think both Fury and Joshua beat him.
I think he has a point to be fair...... Them gloves were not right at all.....some 'punches' he was hitting were with the palm of his hand
The gloves were just worn a bit loose from Fury flicking the jab. There was nothing wrong with the gloves. No one tampered with the gloves. It's ridiculous. The worst Fury could reasonably be accused of is some form of incorrect punching technique, slapping or hitting with open hand. It's funny how before the second fight Wilder was mocking Fury for having feather or pillow fists, and now he's showing footage from the first fight and claiming he was hit by a hard heavy object. Tyson Fury has a right to sue this idiot. So does Ricky Hatton. And so does Mark Breland, and I really hope he does.
The accusation is that Fury pulled his gloves down during the fight. I’m not speaking as an expert. I box recreationally and use velcro sealed gloves in training and sparring so I’ve never laced a pair before and therefore I can’t speak from experience about how likely it is to have the gloves flapping like they are in the photos. I’ve never seen nor experienced that before so as I said it warrants further explanation than to just say that the gloves were checked pre and post fight. Can you cite any other examples of boxing photos where the glove has been flapping about like that?
You've got it the wrong way around. Deontay Wilder is accusing Tyson Fury of cheating without any proof whatsoever. Therefore, it is not warranted for the accused to 'explain' anything - having been presented absolutely no proof of tampering. The onus is on Deontay Wilder to present proof and not some laughable theory formulated by some racially motivated numbskulls on YouTube. The crux of the matter is that if Deontay Wilder did have any proof, no explanation would be required.
