Boxing fans and media should show Shingo Inoue more love and recognize him as one of the best trainers in boxing. In a father-son boxing duo where the father is the trainer and the son is the boxer, you usually find out how good the father is as a trainer once his son starts to step up the competition and fight world level opponents. A lot of father's who train their son get replaced because at or near world level they get exposed as not being good trainers, e.g. Ryan Garcia's dad, Eubank sr etc.

Shingo Inoue has moulded Naoya Inoue into the best fighter since prime Mayweather/Pacquiao. He even took Takuma Inoue to world level when no other trainer can do that because Takuma is average. If he spoke English I'm sure a lot of foreign boxers would be going to him to become their trainer. Maybe if Shingo was brash, loud, and attention seeking like western trainers he would be getting more recognition.

    What do you say?

training the monster will never determine a trainers level because Inoue is a true generational talent.

    Greatest since fml

Naoya once said 'My boxing is 70% father's theory, 30% my inspiration.'

Shingo was also a good amateur boxer.
Shingo and Naoya used to spar at least until Naoya was 20!
When Naoya was 17,he thought he surpassed his father in boxing skill and sparred a little playfully, Naoya was knocked down with a body shot by Shingo. He had hematuria for a while after that. He said it was the hardest punch he had ever taken.

I'd agree, and would actually use Takuma as an example, not Naoya. He doesn't have his brothers talents but is still a very good Boxer.
