Tank seems to have stagnated. He is no better now, then he was back when he beat his best opponent more than three years ago. Floyd has put things in reverse and fed Tank baby food since. It has clearly stagnated Tank's improvement and progression as a fighter. It will end up getting Tank beaten, or getting beaten to a pulp if he moves back to 135 and actually fights somebody. Russell Jr. and Berchelt would have put hands on Tank last night.

I would say this, Tank was able to do to LSC what Frampton a little guy known for his power was not able to do in two meetings by putting LSC on the canvas. The power is for real.

That said I think he needs to stay down at 130 until 135 is wide open before he climbs back up. That would prolong his career.

To my knowledge, Tank doesn´t seem to be spending that much time in the gym between fights.
There have definitely been many camps that focus more on getting in shape and making weight, than actual fight prep.

This one reason Broner has gone to ****. He shows up to get in shape, which he does a damn fine job at. But his skillset has regressed over the years. For someone as talented and hard working as Broner, you´d imagine that he would improve at least a bit over the years.
    But nope.

Meanwhile Floyd would show up already on weight and just work on technique and cardio. Just non stop work.

If those fights are made he shall. LSC is better than both and I know it Tank’s destiny to end the career’s of Lomachenko and Ryan Garcia.

I give Tank a lot of crap but have to agree with you. Fighting smaller guys and older guys is not making Tank improve. I really do t know how good he is because they are afraid to put him in with a legit LW. He has trouble making weight and I do t see him going back to 130 and all the big names are at 135 so he’s not going anywhere.

Tank has big power but it would be interesting to see what that power would do against a legit LW or a big one like Lopez or Garcia. Floyd can’t avoid these guys forever. Are there any more smaller guys they can pull up?

Duckvonta was probably 146 again last night. He called out Pac and said he'd KO Pac. Pac is 148-149 on fight night.

    Let's do it.

Nothing surprising in the LSC fight.

Most called a 'ktfo' around rds 5-8.

A mismatch that played out as such

Tank was never complete, remember he suddenly burst into the scene in an underdog story then a pattern of struggle and good wins followed. Raw physical talent don't always convert into gems (see Gamboa, Tua, Tyson), and as long as he gets the job done, power to him, and when he loses, entertainment for us.

Don't fabricate to try and prop Tank up. Frampton was never known as a huge puncher. He fought mostly bums and has a 53% stoppage rate.

I agree Tank needs to stay at 130 a while.

I saw him being hit a lot by Santa Clause. Imagine what's gonna happen if Tank is hit by a natural Lightweight like Lopez who's bigger than him.
