Against better big HW's Usyk doesn't have enough to keep them off him. They can take his shot and close and once that happens it will be hard for him.

Usyk vs Parker could be a good fight.

Usyk 117-111. I didn't think Usyk particularly looked sharp tonight, his feet and hands looked a little sluggish and his timing wasn't on point. He wasn't making Chisora pay for the wide, looping shots as much as I thought he would, but he did what he needed to do. Some nights you just have to win, as much as fans don't want to acknowledge it, you're not going to be at your best every time out. Some nights you just have to find a way to win and move on. Chisora is a tough dude. He's old, slow and limited, but he's a warhorse. Did Usyk look great? No. But in boxing, unlike other sports you're trying to peak every 3, 6, 9 months and when you don't have it, it's much more pronounced because you can't comeback a couple nights or a week later and bury that performance. What separates great fighters is the ability to win when you're not at your sharpest. In my opinion that is what Usyk did yesterday. Fans care about triangle theories, pound for pound, size and all that meaningless trash. Boxers care about winning. Usyk won and I expect him to look much better next time out. He's still adjusting to the size and power of HW's. Fighters never have to apologize for winning a clear decision.

I agree. I only wish you had thrown in some appropriate comment about the blind fanboyism at the other extreme. It’s both sides that create an environment of dumbassery where there’s no room for intelligent honest analysis. It’s always a frickin food fight.

There was a girl called Shannon who was a pupil in my class at school and her father was manager of Thin Lizzy, she went on holiday when she was in her teens and dived into sea water not realising how shallow it was, the landing left her in a wheelchair for life, just thought I`d say.

I’m sure Bellew watched the fight in slow motion, with no sound, upside down and backwards, as is apparently become the custom nowadays, and saw Usyk lose through superior hipsterness.

In all seriousness though, only God knows what kind of meds Bellew is on now. Meds for pain, meds for arthritis, meds for joint and ligament tears, meds for headaches.

Elite level fighters bodies tend to crumble after retirement. He very well may believe the nonsense he’s spouting.

No it was too wide. I dont want to see anyone get robbed. I have no problems with usyk getting the win. With that said I called out the bad scorecard for loma-lopez which was too wide as well.

Usyk vs Parker could be a good fight...This would really test Usyk, somone small enough to move but who has skill & a bit more power than he has...
