turns 39 years old in April how many fights does he have left would you want to see before he retires?
Few. He's much slower than he was. I think he'll destroy Szeremeta because that guy is made to order for him. ut the thing that Golovkin has lost most of all is his speed and fluidity. Against the really top guys you need every fraction of a second and a fight that could have been easy becomes hard as a result. I'm pretty sad because I like the way he fights.
400 Amature Fights did not help His cause...Should retire as one of the most feared Middleweights we have ever seen....Unfortunately like a majority of the Great fighters over the years they tend to fight on and taint there Legacy...Time to hang up the Gloves I think.!!!
I think he's done at the very top level, but could do a couple more fights just for the cash if he wanted to. He can lose again to Canelo, or to some other top guys, or beat a few low level guys.
1 against an elite fighter. 2-3 against world class fighters. 3-6 against gatekeepers and bums. Dude looks ridiculously slow these days. Power seems to be gone as has his stamina.
He should retire. He's way past his prime. Leave the sport with everything in tact and a nice fat bank account.
I guess a farewell title fight at 160 then save his health for them old years. Great career with little to no moments to be ashamed of.
