Kabayel is a solid fight for Fury as a tick over/ Keep busy fight ( I hate these fights BTW ) but at the moment he just needs a fight so there are no excuses of ring rust ect in the lead up to the AJ fight same for AJ facing Pulev, its his mandatory but its nothing more than a tick over. Both fights should be no danger to both men. Kabayel is a solid Euro/ Fringe world level guy. Pulev is a coming up to 40 year old past his best guy, just the sort of guy Joshua and Whyte like to fight. Sky and Matchroom will be able to wheel Pulev out on a couple more PPV showdowns with Whyte and Chisora after AJ ices him, as the have done with Povetkin.
Good tune up fight imo. Glad it isn't Simon Kean which was rumoured. Fury to win this by a wide decision.
I just hope AJ and fury both win. Let usyk fight for the vacant wbo belt and then the winner can fight usyk afterwards. I am 1 of these that even though they should both win can see a major slip up from 1 of them. I hope I am wrong because the fight can't be any bigger for British boxing than these 2 settling things in the ring.
Can’t really argue with this match up , could of been a lot worst . Saying that it’s not a done deal just yet !
Pulevs Top Rank though I doubt Eddie ever uses him again No value to him here when he gets figures using Dave Allen for a fraction of the cost
From a PPV sales point of view Rivas would've been the best opponent, fan friendly style but Fury would dominate him and stop him emphatically i'd imagine. Kabayel is no mug but I think we are in for a snooze fest
With the way the world is at the moment, this is just fine. Looking forward to seeing Fury back in the ring and I hope Sugar Hill is in his corner for the fight.
I would rather see this than Wilder. I think neither has any chance of beating Fury, but I like Kabayel, and he will at least get a paycheck, some experience and exposer. He can fight for the super-cruiser belt later.
I don't think this will be the walk in the park that some people, not on here, have been saying, Kabayel is no mug is he, he's not just going to be there for a night out.
