Hearn said after the fight Saturday that it did less than 300k but high 2's Less than Whyte Vs Povetkin but still "solid". But in my opinion he didn't look happy about it, his face told a different story, we will see but I don't think he really releases the PPV numbers unless they are great. Him and Kugan do this little thing where Kugan asks if it was more or less than a certain PPV and Hearn is vague sometimes. I personally don't know a single person who bought it, that's the first time ever that none of my friends or family haven't bought a PPV event, I normally know a few people at least but nobody was having that. Some of those people are huge boxing fans so from that I think it didn't do anywhere near high 2's. I think it was probably more around the 240-250 mark, they would have lost so,e good money if Usyk and Chisora were paid what I think they was, combine that with the cost of putting on the show and the undercard purses.. it isn't a great night for Matchroom and Sky.
I find it most odd that Sky put on a really professional show for football but when it comes to boxing it is just incredibly unprofessional. Bellew being the worst of a bad bunch. I thought Matt Macklin did well though. And brought some sanity to the otherwise terrible presentation.
