Lara was all talk. He had numerous opportunities to move to 160 and become mandatory, but he didn't. He was scared of GGG.
If you believe Canelo beat him, and I do, I think GGG might actually do a little better at tracking him down. But Lara could win, it wouldn't be some inconceivable event, he's good.
Lara beat that flat flooted cheat. Far cleaner punches than Canelo on round to round basis. I gave it 7-5, 8-4 to Lara.
Lara could do well before the inevitable KO loss occurs. No way does he survive a full 12 rounds, when he runs out of real estate and has to exchange a few times a round he'll endure a horrible beating.
Lara is a good fighter but prime GGG would have knocked him out. He was slick enough to win rounds but I think he was too small for GGG at 160. Gave Canelo a good fight and many thought he won.
