Me you and 1 or 2 more out of the whole site were the ones who called Fury as the best years ago, as soon as he showed he could box on the backfoot, feint and dominate with the jab and not just brawl, that was it. i knew he had klits number.

It was literally one of Vitali's toughest fights. Chisora did well that night.

He also beat Helenius. One of the robberies of the last decade.

To be fair it's hard to look at 2010/2011 Fury and predict what he would become

His foot speed was much slower back then and his arsenal seems to continually improve at a ridiculous rate. He shows something new almost every other fight.

I've never been a Fury hater, I just couldn't see the skillset that would elevate him beyond. Expected Haye to be the guy to beat him. Fight off, went off the radar then back on the radar against Wlad.

Was made a believer within a few rounds of him boxing Wlad's nut off. Re-assessed the situation & could see how special he was, not just in skillset but in his fighting mindset and toughness.

Even before the bout against Wlad Fury's talk was something that i've never personally got to see in the heavyweight division, or any of the division at that time. It was something different and really engaging.

It also didn't come across as a front or facade like many boxers. Brilliant.

 

I saw all that back in 2012 pal he had 3 fights that year and barely got hit he also was in great shape for the first time in 2012

 

Cunningham 2013 he was in great shape

Then after Haye pulled out he got fat and fought Abell really out of shape

Then had a top class boxing performance against Chisora which bored all the casuals and another super slick destruction of Hammer, still one of his best performances to date. He was physically mature and his offense/defense against Hammer was amazing.

People saying Fury was too heavy for the 2nd Wilder bout was funny because he has always perform well when heaviest but not out of shape heavy. He can easily hold 265 pounds.

I think it's only now just clicked for him that trying to lean out and lose weight is totally useless for him. Spent most of his career and training camps having to focus on some level of weight loss so he's never had a marker for where he should fight. Now he trains every day and will be a rock solid 265-275 pounds every fight till he retires.

I’ll never forgive Haye for that duck but luckily Fury’s career has still worked out fine

in the second wilder fight I thought his weight was spot on pal he’s in his 30’s now time to start carrying a bit more muscle especially as he is going to start pushing for knockouts from now on

I think in the fight after that against charr he knew he would struggle later on with the pace so he intentionally cut charr to tko him

he looked comfortable but it only went 4 rounds before vitali landed a left hook that opened up charr’s eyebrow like a packet of crisps
