He says he wants to fight one more time this year. Who can he get? Who should he be targeting?

I still want to see Bakole, who is one of the few guys who is free.

Hearn stated Hrgovic turned down the chance to fight Bakole a while ago.

I think Hrgovic vs Zhang makes sense.

This makes a lot of sense. Unless Zhang could be maneuvered into a voluntary stay busy fight for someone big.

Risk-reward for Bakole makes no sense ... Hunter could be made into a big fight but not for this year.

He is not going to get Zhang, though. He will be groomed for an easy path to a title fight.

Zhang works for Hearn now. Hearn is hoping that ideally, Joshua will defeat Fury, and then Zhang can serve as a marketable easy night for Joshua. Should Fury prevail, Hearn can still make a few bucks by offering Zhang up.

At least, that is my thought. The chances of Hrgovic getting Zhang are slim and none.

David Price? I notice Hearn likes to use Shawndell Terrell Winters on his cards so probably him.

Hrgovic is rated #9 by the WBC. Joseph Parker is rated #6 by the WBC. Both are 28. Both fight for Hearn. Neither is ever going to fight Joshua in the future, because guys who sign Hearn as their promoter don't fight Joshua for the title (ask Dillian Whyte).

Hrgovic-Parker sounds good. Winner gets in the top 5.

    Make it.

Yeh, this makes sense. Despite that Zhang is probably past his best etc. he's free mainstream media publicity in China. As someone from that region of the planet I keep on alluding to how huge that market is. Even the publicity of Zhang being in a fight ... get's name recognition for Matchroom.

Well after this can of tomato soup I expect him to raise his sights and take on a can of chicken noodle . That was pathetic

Once again you see that signing with Matchroom isn't a great move for a non-British HW, Hearn will just try to keep you away from his cashcow (and to a lesser extend Whyte).
Parker would be the logic next step, both him and Hunter should try to get a fight with Parker.

Hope he fights Hunter. Pretty sure he's available, he's been asking for a for a fight so why not.

His promoter said IBF. The highest rated IBF guy is who they should target. If they can squeeze on in for December, whomever they can get.

Any of these would be okay:

Hunter, Chisora, Whyte, winner of Dubois-Joyce, Bakole, Parker, Ajagba.

Please, no more hapless old guys or journeymen.

That is a good list. I'd through Ruiz in there as well.
