It's when you get to the "They also have stores in Lewisham, Croydon, Ilford and Brixton. In a slightly rogue turn they also have a branch in Dubai" bit I realised what was going on here. He probably spends half his time in Dubai. Dubai is fueled by economic slaves from Nigeria, Philippines and a load of other poor nations. For this article Joshua had the chance to plug anywhere and he chose the place that has a chain running as far as Dubai. I'll hold my hands up and say that I don't like the guy, I used to but he grates on me so much and I know here he is just playing the game but I don't agree with it, be it Joshua or anyone.
He wasn't my favourite due to him "playing the media game" but now I think Fury has overtaken him in that game. A guy who was once an enemy of the media is now untouchable... The Media Darling of 2020
Yeah Tyson and John are definitely benefitting from people seemingly forgetting that John gouged a man's eye out in front of his boy and that Tyson was a drug cheat, there was some genuine good will in Tysons mental health thing but for me it soon became a cringeworthy and potentially dangerous campaign. Tyson, however you paint him, isn't your average man in the street, he may have similar issues but he has access to all the help in the world and all the things he needs to combat these problems and it really grates on me seeing him flaunting his money ie holidays, buying items etc and then offering some rather obvious mental health advice. Great boxer though, no doubt about that.
I could be wrong, but i suspect this is regarding AJs BLM speech he read out, telling people to abstain from certain businesses, and now he is being paid by google to do this type of stuff.
Doesn't make all the family guilty. Tyson isn't a convicted drug dealer but I can think of another British heavyweight who is.
I'm very interested in how little criticism Peter gets from the people who want to crucify Joshua despite them operating on completely different scales. The whole Fury family benefitted from Peter's empire that allowed him to have his own gym in the south of France and dedicate his time to training his son and nephew. Then there's Tyson choosing to get in bed with the murderous Kinahan cartel as heavyweight champion of the world. So with that in mind I do think it's a bit rich when people act as if Joshua is the scum of the earth for being arrested with weed in his car whilst not commenting on the likes of Peter Fury and Daniel Kinahan.
I doubt it, considering he said nothing against anybody directly and Fury has an ugly past with regards anti-semitism amongst other things
Your post was going in the right direction until you brought up "drug cheat". I'm presuming that you have followed boxing, and professional sport in general, for a considerable period of time, so I'm surprised to see that you bring up "drug cheat" as if all high level professional athletes are not beneficiaries of the most sophisticated "medical" outfits available. Aside from that, I think you're absolutely bang on the money. I've been a fan of Tyson Fury since I watched his professional debut on ITV4. I've watched his career unfold through all of the peaks and troughs, and here he is, in the best position he has ever been, yet I haven't felt as disengaged as a fan. While Tyson Fury has no doubt gained a legion of "fans" (just look at the plaudits he enjoys throughout social media, for a start), he's probably alienated some of his original followers to one degree or another.
AJ wasn't exactly Tony Montana. Anyway fcuk the law. Maybe if they get with the damn times and at a minimum legalise weed you wouldn't need drug dealers. The demand for recreational drugs is never going away so instead of empowering drug dealers wake up and do something about it.
