Tate was fast and could move, but that was for a big man like him, not much compared to Larry

Tate was a better fighter than Leroy Jones, but there is a bit of a size similarity. Jones got flack for getting a shot, but he was an undefeated contender, and he had bizarrely fast hands and feet for such a big man. At the end, Holmes turned him into a sad stumble-bum with an ugly eye injury.

Tate might last a bit longer, and would probably do better early on, of course. But at the end he'd hit the floor at least once imo.

Tate's management should have gotten flack, they put him back into the ring in just about 3 months after getting brutally knocked out. Emanuel Steward once said that a fighter should take months off after that type KO, and he should have come back against a light hitting C- fighter at best.
