Huh? What do you base Ortiz having a bad chin on? Getting KO'd by Wilder? Doesn't make sense.

I really don't know about this one. Both are good, but Ortiz hasn't fought anyone except Wilder (probably not his fault). He's dominated most of his opponents though. It's a shame Ortiz is damn near 60 and we never got to see him against guys like Pov, Whyte, Parker, even Chisora.

Ortiz vs Povetkin is a really good fight Povetkin has been tested against tougher opponents but Ortiz has pretty much dominated everyone he's been in the ring with including Wilder before Wilder got the knockout in both fights. I think Ortiz hits a little harder but Povetkin has a better boxing IQ its a real tossup fight it just depends on who lands flush first. Id go with Ortiz his counter-punching is a beauty to watch but Sasha could def win. I don't think this fight will happen anytime soon tho. They're obviously planning on doing Ortiz vs Ruiz after Ruiz faces Aerrola and Povetkins preoccupied with the Whyte rematch.

If we're talking now ie. old shot to bits Povetkin. It's a fair question. However, if we're talking prime Povetkin and in terms of overall ability, accomplishments (am and pro), resume etc. then it's not even remotely close.

I edge towards Pov as he has a better cv although he's also had many more tougher fights and wars.

Povetkin is a chandelier at this point. Ortiz would nail him and put him away.

It's a fight I'd like to see but Povetkin been playing at a much higher level for years. There must be a reason why Ortiz has never stepped it up.

Fairly even match up. Ortiz in the last few years is hard to get gauge on because hes beaten a bunch of lack luster opposition but when he has stepped up both times against Wilder hes been knocked out. Povetkin on the other hand has beaten some good fighters but was taken out by Joshua and beat by Klitschko when stepping up to top level. Against one and other its hard to picture either Ortiz will be able to counter Povetkin and put him down a few times or Povetkin will be busier and may catch Ortiz and put him out. This would be a decent next fight for both hopefully it happens.

Povetkin knocks him out, a far superior fighter even now.

Povetkin is in his 40s so if they fight their combined age would be over 100 years old.
