Garcia v Campbell is off. Campbell has covid

I had a flu that did the same. It's just luck of the draw. These instances aren't common enough to be so concerned. It's no Spanish flu, I'll tell you that. That ****ed everyone up.
We can't be treating the anomalies that are deliberately cherry picked by the fearmongers as if they're the norm.

 

There are a number of real life people that I know who had COVID-19. Luckily none of them died, but here are some of them.

1. A healthy 30 year old woman struggled to breath for weeks and didn't eat properly. She suffered for about 3 weeks before slowly recovering.
2. A 50 year old doctor stayed in the hospital for a week and nearly died.
3. A family got it. The kids were fine. The parents suffered for about a week. The mom lost her sense of taste for a month. The father lost his sense of taste and smell for 6 months.

Even if one person can handle it well, others may not. Campbell would have spread it to Garcia and Garcia may spread it to his corner people, who will then spread it their families and friends. Some of them will handle it well, some will suffer and some may die from it. That's the risk people don't want to take.

Just a delay, this fight will happen soon. Sorry to see the delay but these are strange times. Hope Campbell recovers fully and this fight lives up to expectations. I was excited to see these two fight. Good step up for Garcia but I think he’s ready.

I’m not getting involved in the Covid discussions. Enough of that in real life. I come here to get away from that stuff. Boxing is a great diversion.
