Hughie isn't everyone's cup of tea and hardly sets pulses racing when in the ring but at the age of 24 (a baby for a HW) has gone in with Povetkin who recently scalped Whyte, Parker who some felt he won and Pulev who's next in line for AJ.

    Granted

However he just isn't that good
3 losses in todays world at such a young age means a couple more and promoters will stop using him
Its not like with David Price where people these days actually watch him to get chinned

Hughie has not got anything to offer if he reaches that stage

He is quite a boring fighter to watch

I always forget how young Hughie is. 26!!

if I was I him I’d go into hiding for a year and just pile some muscle on, work on aggression and power.

He needs a new trainer that can give him different game plans

Come back and make a statement

He needs to megadose on wild boar again.

He might do better in the new wilderweight division

I totally agree Moog. He's certainly one of the contenders if not "the best".

If I was advising Dillian Whyte I'd be 100% suggesting to him that he trains with Big Peter Fury. Particularly because they have worked together in sparring and training before when Whyte has been involved with Tyson or Hughie's camps.

People also forget that despite how boring the fight was, Hughie clearly beat Parker on points and Parker's team even conceded it in the aftermath when their body language screamed defeat. Also Hughie is a very young Heavyweight who has struggled with illness yet look at who he has been in with. He's never been close to being hurt in any of his fights and he handles himself well which is a testament to Peter's training.

Also Peter Fury strikes me as a very loyal man. Like I said, Whyte and several other top fighters in Britain would be wise to consider training with Peter Fury. How many other active trainers in the UK can say they have trained a fighter to a successful Heavyweight world title challenge?

He is the most boring fighter to watch and well short of a being a genuine World Champion contender.

Okolie boring but Hughie must be the worst - he has not improved at all and going nowhere fast.

Tbf Hughie scored a majestic back foot KO against an albeit domestic level Sexton, but it was a magnificent, aesthetically pleasing KO:

Any KO that Okolie has landed has been a sloppy mess with limbs flying everywhere. I'd watch Hughie fight before an Okolie fight any day of the week. I was at the Okolie-Chamberlain fight and still suffering from PTSD.

I like Peter and rate him as a trainer but Hughie went backwards under him which doesn't look good.

Good shout regarding Whyte. Not many have done what he has done which is particularly impressive as he has never had a big stable, never took on an Olympic champion. Indeed comes across as extremely loyal. Savannah said in an interview I could never pay him back for all the things he has done for me its impossible, he even took me abroad on training camps and looking after me (took that as in he paid) and he has put me up when I've needed it. You could see his joy in her winning world title, and it was clear his happiness came from her being happy, not about himself. Tellingly he said in an interview he bumped into her dad in lift at hotel and seeing how happy he was as a father made it all worth while.

Seems to have plan A and nothing else as well. Perhaps being too harsh, but i feel that if the fight isn't going too well for his fighter, there's isn't too much adaption there
