The best version of Marvin against the best of Gerald, I’m aware of the gulf in skill and pedigree but what I’m taking into account is Gearld (IMO) would be the most powerful puncher Hagler faced he hit at a demonic level, had a chin of iron not unlike Marvins, he was faster and almost a fully fledged LHW on fight night with his own credible skills.

A case of a bigger more athletically gifted fighter against the smaller more skilful champion an argument old as time in boxing.

Same day weigh in, Hagler easy KO
Before day weigh in McClellan would be too big IMO

Now in 2020, I would like to see that

Hmmm, might be Hagler by decision. Although, I can't see G Man holding back which could easily result in a KO like you said. Might be better than Hagler v Mugabi.

IN the right scenario, Hagler. In todays form of the game, McClellan.

Not an easy fight for either man. I could see gman catching hagler off guard but hagler adjusting. Down the stretch I would expect hagler to finish stronger

Hagler is a nightmare match up for Gerald, one of the few men that can take his best shots and keep coming as well as having better technique and a much higher fight iq. Marvin wins every time.

Hagler by TKO. What the hell is G-Man gonna do?

It would be an exact replay of the first Obel fight.

Gerald takes a terrible beating in a totally one sided fight.

Gerald could have 20 pounds on Hagler and this is still a mismatch.

It's such a mismatch. Hagler would be in the 150s and McClellan in the 190s.

Ridiculous. It's over in under 30 seconds.

That's the reality. Much as we all love Marvin to bits.

Youre a special kind of idiot if you believe either of those things.

    Especially the latter.

McClellan was not putting on 30 pounds in 24 hours.

Rick Glaser said that McClellan rehydrated more than anyone he had ever seen, that on one occasion he entered the ring at 198.
