Ward would have easily outboxed and destroyed Pascal, Gvozdyk, Browne, Jack, and 198-lb. Butterbeef. Discuss.

While I agree he beats them all, he would certainly struggle against Beterbiev.

Good point. Ward would have to spend time thinking how to beat 198-lb. Butterbeef as an average-sized LHW.

    Running, grabbing, butting.

And Carl Froch really wasn't very good.

Running? You mean what Bivol does? Grabbing? You mean what Beterbiev does? Butting? You mean what Lomachenko does? Gtfo dumb Eurofan. European boxing styles are **** poor compared to American styles.

He was great, boring, but great nonetheless.
I had the privilege of attending some of his early fights in Oakland on his way up, and even ran in to him at a gym in Hayward CA once.

His claim to fame will always be cleaning out his division as an underdog at 168, then moving up to shatter the legacy of Kovalev at 175

Still wish we could have somehow got to see the all time fantasy matchup between him and calzaghe, but their careers just missed each other. It would have been an ultimate clash of styles, and I am also a big calzaghe fan. Both these champions were underappreciated during their time

ROFL Why bring him into it?? The only thing Ward was best at was FOULING & fighting dirty. He robbed Kovalev TWICE
second time with the aid of Tony Weekes who need an anatomy lesson. The foul line, the navel, is NOT level with a mans testes Weekes saw it as that
Calzaghe couldnt throw a legitimate scoring punch to save his life. He slapped like a little girl

No Carl Froch slander buddy.. He was the second best SMW of his era and faced top competition for x amount of years with only two losses..

Calzaghe’s wins over Lacy, Kessler, Bika, shot Hopkins, and shot Roy sh*t on GGG’s entire career. Ward’s obviously too. Tony Weeks was biased towards Kovalev, not Ward, as Kovalev complained of numerous punches on the belt throughout the fight, which were not low, and he tried to quit in the beginning of the 8th round by turning around; Ward should have hit him then, but he graciously did not, and Weeks did nothing about Kovalev’s faking. Ward stopped Kovalev with punches to the belly button, which are LEGAL, you dumba*s, if it’s on the waistline or above then it’s good, and I’m sure you know the belly button is located above the waistline. Now go wank off at highlights of Bumlovkin vs Geale. :)

Not Kovalev. He lost the first fight for me. Second was pretty even then he speed bagged his balls.
