Hearns KO ratio wa far better at 147 than Manny`s has been up to now, Tommy wwas a far better finisher at welter and destroyed Duran 154, something Manny could never even dream of doing.

I know. Hence why I think Pacquiao gets KOed in one.

PBF would win zero rounds. Literally none. Ray Leonard won about three rounds of thirteen, Mayweather isn't gonna win one of the four it'd last.

Can you read? I literally just said he'd do better, as in he'd last longer, but he has less chance of winning. You've literally just agreed with what I said.
What you've just said, without knowing, is that you agree. If Pacquiao was bigger, his style would be able to beat Hearns'. Floyd's wouldn't.

Manny had success because Margarito walked to him face first, zero defense. Hearns, on his worst day, is many levels above Margarito. Margo and Hearns are way different fighters. Hearns was great, Margo was just ok with good chin and stamina. Your comparisons of the 2 is foolish at best and shows your lack of knowledge of boxing. Your logic, Manny did good against Margo means he beats Hearns. LOL just LOL

Hearns didn’t have much defense either. The point is PAC knew how to land on taller guys like Marg and De La Hoya. It’s highly possible he could have chopped up Hearns. U must be one of those bone heads who thinks guys from the 80’s are automatically better than current fighters, tho the fact is PAC is one of the all time greats , up in the top 10 fighters of all time

Debatable which one should be ranked higher all-time. Both are in the top 40.

Hearns suffers from being the weakest of the 4 kings, but there is no shame in that as the other three are also all-time greats. Two of them are in the top 10 boxers of all-time.

Nah, I'm one of those boneheads that knows Hearns was lightyears more skilled than Margarito. A bonehead that knows Hearns had a lightning, piston jab and knew how to use it. A bonehead that knows Hearns knew how to use his height and range against smaller opponents. A bonehead that knows Hearns could box with the best of them. These are the facts that dictate my opinion that Hearns beats Pac. Oh and he was kinda fast too. Anymore theories why I favor Hearns over Pac?

If...IF...Manny was 5'8" and 160 pounds I'd give him a shot at beating Hearns. He might get in a punch like Iran Barkley did.
But the Manny in this reality and dimension would get KO'd after being out boxed for 10 rounds.

It's seriously unfair to compare the two greats. They are in two different weight classes. Yeah I know Hearns fought DOWN TO 147 but he looked emaciated at that weight. 160+ was a more natural weight. Manny started out at 108 (!) and fought UP TO 147.

Because Pacquiao ain't Duran either, I don't think he latest more than him.

Neither of them are hard fights. Hearns beats Mayweather 12-0 if Floyd runs. If Floyd even tries to win a single round he gets knocked out. Pac loses by KO anywhere from round 1 to round 4.

Not a fair fight for Manny. he's a small guy who moved up multiple divisions. Hearns started as a HUGE WW and went up to cruiswerweight.

That's like asking how would Hearns do against Ezzard Charles at LHW. Why not since Hearns did campaign at 175 lbs and was a champion at that weight class. Same with Ray leonard.

I'd tell you how they'd do- they'd both get knocked out by Ezzard Charles inside the first 6 rounds. That's the weight class Charles started in and he's widely considered one of the top 2-3 ever in the division.

So why would Manny have much of a chance against arguably one of the 3 or 4 greatest Welterweights of all time? It's just a ridiculous matchup.

Duran started at a higher weight (130 lbs) than Manny and hit like a mule but he was put to sleep in the 2nd round against Tommy.

Manny as well as Floyd are sure fire ATG's but if they fought back in the 1980's, neither guy would have campaigned at WW. And that's perfectly ok since the best WW's in the early 80's were huge guys that started at the weight class.

Hypothetical matches are fun to think about but when trying to compare ATG fighters, it's best to match them up against guys who are similar in size. Weight classes exist for a reason.

The fight would look like the Hearns Pipino" Cuevas fight
