Kell Brook “ I can make Crawford quit “

For those who didn’t see it, please go back and watch the Moloney - Franco fight and the aftermath. Arum intimidating officials amongst the robbery.

 

Thought that was just getting interesting in fairness but Crawford is no joke. One of the best finishers in boxing and think we all knew that was inevitable was just a case of when..

 

There needs to be an investigation in to that. Get the decision overturned. I thought it was Arum who was pushing for the video to be reviewed when it looked like they weren't going to bother though?.

 

Nah mate, the ref would work harder than them two.

 

Kell says the weight was good, he doesn't actually look bad

 

I fell back asleep after my alarm. When I woke up and put it on it was showing the replays for the ko. I hoped Brook could pull something off but that Zerafa fight proved everything for me. He was done then.

I did think the commentator was a bit disrespectful though, like a little hanger on fan boy.

Considering Ricky Burns went 12 rounds with Crawford, that was quite sad to watch.

Hopefully Brook retires now.

 

People were criticising Hearn for not getting involved in the fight. Imagine he put that on PPV at 5am. My god.

 

That lightweight Ricky Burns was good though. This Kell is crap.

 

Set the alarm for 0500, logged on, quickly found a LINKER, started watching in round four. Just in time to see Brook get discombobulated by a southpaw jab.

BUDDY throws punches with spite and accuracy from the minute or so I watched of him.

Kell Brook, is a shot fighter.

 

That’s a mad shot to be hurt so much by. I know he’s coming into it and doubling the force but it’s still a weird one to end up like that from. I wonder if Brook’s punch resistance was effected by making 10 and a half stone again.

 

Plus burns has a legit granite chin

 

Not that I paid for it but Chisora is better value for money than a shot fighter who goes down with the first meaningful punch (a jab?).

 

That's what was sad to see about this fight, the Kell Brook who beat Shawn Porter had the potential to beat someone like Crawford.

It reminds me of Ricky Hatton., although Hatton eventually had the big fights with Mayweather, Pacquaio and Tszyu he spent his peak years defending the WBU title against subpar opponents.

 

There is world class and then I think there is elite. Kell Brook was once world class, he now looks to have regressed massively, however Crawford is elite. No version of Brook could beat Crawford. He is exceptional. He’s not got the same fanfare as your Loma’s, Canelo’s etc but he is in that category. He looks completely at ease in both stances. Just a shame that boxing politics are putting a ceiling on him in his peak years.
