Its not massive money as you point out after deductions etc however when you take into account all the corners he's cutting and the penny pinching and what he would earn in any other fight then I think it can be seen as a cash out. Once the Khan fight was dead in the water he was only ever going to take the biggest money fight he could find imo and then call it a day, this pays 5 or 6 times more than he would get for any other fight he could get I would think.
No hype cos he wanted to do it on his own & only wanted Hearn / Sky involved when he realised no one was interested. Not even channel 5.
I want him to win this, stick 2 fingers up to the World, sail off into the sunset and drown the bloke that stabbed him.
Hopefully Brook can win but he literally has zero chance in reality, Bud is a class act and Brook has had his time - very one sided beatdown.
I don't think Crawfords chin is that great and Brook definitely has the power to hurt him. The question is can he still pull the trigger?. Seems like his reactions are shot going on his last fight. I see Crawford picking him apart and beating him up and probably stopping him late. Be rooting for Brook though.
It was a cash-out, not really much difference to Rocky Fielding v Canelo. Brook's fight was to make the weight, once that was done he didn't care what happened, he'd got his money guaranteed by that point.
May 2021. Wembley Stadium. “Washed up”. Bargain £24.95 on PPV. Khan v Brook. Selby, Chisora and the returning David Allen on this ‘stacked PPV’.
Totally agree mate, easy to say in hindsight but should never have fought GGG the money was obviously to much to turn down I heard around 5 million ? But that’s when his trainer and people round him should be looking after him and advising him but I suppose that’s all you can do he’s his own man abs the final decision lies with him !
the 10/1 got me carried away lol but 20 on at 10/1 betfair cashed out for 55 before round 3 , was definitely overpriced on paper , brook looks so self conscious even after fight seemed happy to think he competed before he got koed , a good career but as someone alluded to for around a mill take home which he used to get for gavin bizier etc does not strike me as a cashout think he fancied it after seing mean machine fight ,but he soon found out it was over , for me losing or not goin out vs p4p best is goin out at the top !
