I disagree. Crawford is one of boxing's nice guys. Why anyone would prefer boxers be fools like Broner is incomprehensible.
Bob ain't lying. A fighter w/o charisma or anything else interesting going on for him will not draw a crowd. That's why Floyd turned in to a crappy cartoon character. Why Adrien Broner acted a fool 24/7. A fighter has to sell themselves as well. SSM should have been a star after beating DLH the first time. But he was boring outside the ring.
I doubt too many people outside of us on this forum/forums even know who Crawford or Spence are. It might be a mega fight on this board but I'm sorry it would probably be lucky to sell a half million ppv buys and that's being generous.
I think 300K would be considered a success for them. Hopefully when/if this fight is made, it's not on PPV.
arum up to his old tricks LOL why is arum getting mad all a sudden? crawford has always been boring and cant market himself.................. Maybe bud wants to keep fighting b/c level fighters and earning big money for nothing.........
Way over the top from Arum there as usual who’s just being salty that Crawford isn’t resigning. He does have a slight point however. No one is expecting him to turn into Fury trash taking levels but he’s certainly not helping himself. I think Porter would be a great fight.
What does charisma have anything to do with being nice? Lol Have you seen dude talk or give interviews? He’s bland as a rock.
Well Arum does have a point. Crawford doesn't have a big personality, isn't good on the mic at all and doesn't know how to self promote himself which is really important especially if you want to become a PPV fighter. He's a very good fighter, no doubt, but that can only get you so far. Look at Andre Ward, he was considered a top 2 P4P fighter for many years but never really generated any big income in his fights due to his lack of personality and also a somewhat boring fighting style. You can say what you want about Mayweather being a pot-shot, defensive specialist in the back half of his career once he made his way up to WW, but that guy knew how to promote himself and sell a fight. He slipped seamlessly into the villain role and was paid handsomely for it. Same can be said with the UFC, the guys who know how to speak on the mic can really rake in the dough. Chael Sonnen was a mediocre fighter for most of his career but was in so many main events because he perfected the art of trash talking. Same goes with Michael Bisping. McGregor became their cashcow more for his personality than his fighting although he is a good fighter in his own right.
I agree. I just believe it's the promoters preventing these fights from happening. In my experience when great fighters are eager to fighter other great fighters. I could be wrong but I just don't see either Spence or crawford as those who would avoid challenges
Sonnon was pretty much a professional wrestler fighting in MMA. Everything he did outside the octagon was taken straight from pro wrestling. Guy knew how to get himself over.
See idiots like you are the problem everybody is guilty by association huh? Shakur never once hit a woman in that video did the guy he was with yes but Shakur only hit men so stop trying to act like he was the one hitting on some women you pos!!!
