    He had a record of 14-3. Lost to Fawnee Smith and twice to Young James Lee. The first loss to Lee was actually by knockout. Rocky didnt like the amateur system because the short fights meant he couldnt warm up in time. Also I just made all that up

    He had a very brief & undistiguished amateur record.
    He gassed in a fight & kneed an opponent to save himself.
    Then vowed to never be out of shape again, gave up smoking, & was a fanatical devotee of fitness who tried many different prorgrams in search of better performances.

    I believe he had an amateur fight or two after he turned pro, and he lost one of them - probably the one where he kneed his opponent.

    He kneed a guy once, so a DQ Mark Ant pretty sure you can find that on Boxrec though.

    He drew the color line in the amateurs so he only fought Caucasian Ivy League boxers. Fights were decided on IQ....not surprising that he was 0-12.
