i cant write of haye because he has that big equaliser that can ko alot of heavies, but he found against klitchko once he couldnt get a punch off he was done, he showed limitations and to be honest he bottled it against fury. haye isnt daft he knows the fights he could win and the ones he cant, he wasnt mentally prepared for greatness and he wasnt physically prepared, glass cannon.
SNV poleaxes him with the jab in the early rounds. Usky tries dancing away, but SNV does a 360, moonwalks over to Usyk and lands a combination that puts Usyk down for good. Dejected, Usyk moves back down to cruiser weight. SNV is so light on his feet that he makes cruiser weight and beats Usyk there too.
that was a time haye could of beaten fury, any later and fury would just really hurt haye current fury would retire any haye violently bet you wont agree on that? and then we will have to disagree, because i know this forum makes out haye to be some sort of destroyer. lol
.i think highly of David Haye.... But im open minded and willing to see flaws in him if someone tells me what fights to look at that shows hes overated besides the Klitschko fight.
i think mostly every heavyweight fight he didnt look that good apart dispatching dereck chisora, he didnt even do much against valuev who was a sitting duck. do you ever feel haye was in control of a fight? i mean he didnt have a high ring iq, his pacing wasnt great, he relied on pure athleticism. You rate him highly because he was explosive. and he has a high ko ratio. he would of threw the towel in trying to get inside fury boxing of the back foot. when haye wasnt landing he was struggling, which means his gameplan a was his only gameplan.
david haye beats dillian whyte. dillian whyte has a open defence and is sloppy, haye threw sharp accurate punches and was more skillful. but prime povetkin knocks haye out, haye wouldnt like the pressure and volume of povetkin.
well he looked good at cruiserweight, im just saying at heavy not so much. look at his heavyweight opponents, if you rate them highly, ill have to find another thread to post on you can look em up. im sure youve made your own mind up about haye. who do you think would beat him? from 2010-2020.
Id say Fury, Joshua, prime povetkin, ruiz would beat haye and wilder vs haye is 50/50 based on styles. If fury was to box on the backfoot and spoil how would you imagine haye landing anything, knowing he hasnt got the footwork or skills to get inside a taller skilled fighter. haye was a jabber then a puncher from the backfoot in no world could he outjab fury or even land his jab.
i think ruiz out toughs haye if ruiz is firing, as haye has chin issues and stamina issues and would be fighting someone equally as fast but tougher. povetkin is an all round better puncher and brings more volume. joshua would knock out haye from the outside. fury boxes him the outside and haye doesnt bother after the 6th round.
The Chisora fight has shown that the only Heavyweights Usyk can beat are the likes of Szpilka or Seth Mitchell. Even Helenius would be too much for Usyk, let alone Valuev!
