As for Roldan, he was one of the best contenders in a solid era of middleweights. Even though the official KD that he scored against Hagler was quite dubious, he did give Marvin a lot of trouble for a few rounds before MMH took control.

Terrible news about Roldan. He had some memorable fights and faced some tough opposition. A quality contender. If I were asked to picture what an Argentinian fighter looked like, Roldan would probably be the one who popped into my head.
