Chimaev is 9-0 and all his fights in the UFC have been incredibly impressive though all his opponents were unranked he's only absorbed 2 strikes in all 3 of his UFC fights his last fight ended in a one-punch knockout. Leon Edwards is the number 3 ranked welterweight in the world whose been undefeated since his 2015 loss to current champ Kamara Usman. Who do you have will Chimaev prove the hype is real or will Edwards stop the hype train? According to Chimaev his first MMA training session was only 3 years ago he's wrestled since he was a child and achieved a lot in the sport but it is insane to me that he's only been practicing the sport for 3 years and is fighting the number 3 guy in his division and is the 4-1 favorite!!
    Heres Chimaev's and edwards highlights

I have Leon by decision Khazmat will be very dangerous in the first 2 rounds and probably drop Edwards and might get close to a finish but Edwards will whether the storm like he's done before and show his experience Khazmat has looked amazing but the opposition he's faced is no where near the level of the opposition Leon's faced I think this fight will be similar to Shabazyan vs Brunson where the Prospect almost gets the finish and gasses himself out to be brutally picked apart by the veteran. Chimaev is dangerous though and id say their is a chance he gets the finish early on he's got very crisp striking and a lot of power in his hands and his grappling is very good too. Leons striking is top notch and his grappling is very underrated he was very difficult for Usman to take down and we've seen the level of grappling Usmans on I say Edwards has 7/10 chance of winning this one.

Was hoping for Edwards v Masvidal instead of this but this is what Edwards gets as well as being dropped out of the rankings, for knocking back repeated fight offers.
    Chimaev inside 2 rounds

I see Edwards withstanding Chimaev's energy and wrestling in the first rd or so and then showing his overall class to possibly stop a fading Chimaev late. This fight is quite intriguing given the hype Chimaev has.

How are these UFC guys catching it. Knowing you're signed to fight weeks ago. Wouldn't they and their team be in strict isolation. Especially when you're the main event.
