Is anyone else convinced that Joe Joyce can surprise and beat Daniel Dubois?

Anything is possible in the heavyweight division, we’ve seen that before, I personally think Joyce can win, what is your opinion?

 

I had Dubois when it was first mentioned, but I think Joyce gases him in a war and stops him. Hrgovic has convinced me. I always thought Joyce was maybe harder once you get in with him,than how easy it looks to outbox him from outside the ropes on the eye so to speak

 

Joyce is a slow starter and Dubois has a good stiff hard jab so there is a chance Dubois lands the earlier, harder shots behind that jab.

If Joyce can’t stop that Jab within the first few rounds it’s simply a matter of time before Dubois KO’s him. Joyce, however, knows this and has been focusing on it in training.

I view it as a 60/40 for Dubois due to youth, and an edge in power.

 

For me, it's a totally unpredictable fight and truly 50-50.
It could go either way, be nip and tuck one way or the other, or a mismatch either way, a good fight, a bad fight, a long fight, a short fight. I don't know. It might prove one is a level above the other, or both are top class, or both are crap. I don't know.#

If Joyce comes in heavy, I think he might be competitive. But Dubois looks all wrong for him, and I expect him to be stopped mid to late rounds. This is just going on both their recent performances. Dubois looks to have improved and the Juggernaut looks like he regressed judging from the Jennings fight.

 

I still have the same prediction I've had since the fight was announced. DuBois will box and beat Joyce to the punch and look like a million buck until Joyce lands the big one and DuBois falls apart, being KO'ed.

 

Joyce will win. His rock solid chin and high work rate will be the difference.

 

I ain’t totally convinced about Dubois chin. Lartey managed to rock him and stop him in his track a couple of times.

 

Joyce threw a punch in his last fight... And it's still travelling through the air as we speak ... Guy is soooo slow

I think dubois will bounce shots off his massive head all night.. Eventually he will stop him

 

Neither one of them look unbeatable to me. This is a rare fight I have no opinion on.

 

I pick Dubois still, when he goes at Joyce up close and lands some heavy body shots, it will be the beginning of the end trust me.

Joyce was briefly troubled by a body shot from Bryant Jennings but he's no Ricky Lartey as we know.

 

Joyce has a bad habit of getting caught early. I remember stiverne and wallisch both tagging him. If he can weather the early storm I believe he stops Dubois late.

I really like this fight, I’m a big fan of Joyce’s non stop aggression and also interested to see if doubois is the real deal or not. His opponents so far have been turd!

 

If he brings back his outside boxing ability and movement

Holding ground and plodding forward with them horribly slow punches will get him beat up.

He has to hope Dubious has stamina issues late fight also.

Both are either going to step it up and put on a great fight or show off their beautiful big stiff idiot flaws...or both.
