How would prime Alexander Povetkin fare against:

    - 1992 version of Donovan Ruddock
    - old Tony Tucker
    - Phil Jackson
    - Frank Bruno
    - Oliver McCall
    - Tommy Morrison
    - Ray Mercer
    - Henry Akinwande
    - Andrew Golota
    - Shannon Briggs
    - Zeljko Mavrovic
    - old Holyfield (and better prepared old Holyfield in the rematch)
    - Michael Grant
    - Francois Botha
    - David Tua
    - prime Hasim Rahman (Povetkin demolished shot version)
    - shot Mike Tyson
    - Vitali

    My picks would be:

    - Povetkin KO8-10 Ruddock
    - Povetkin TKO10 Tucker
    - Povetkin KO1-3 Jackson (Jackson was AWFUL)
    - Povetkin KO9 Bruno
    - Povetkin UD12 McCall
    - Povetkin KO4-6 Morrison
    - Povetkin WMD10 Mercer
    - Povetkin KTFO10 Akinwande
    - Povetkin TKO9 Golota (would be tough fight for Alexander before Golota';s fragile mentality would betray him)
    - Povetkin KO6--8 Briggs
    - Povetkin KO4 Mavrovic
    - Povetkin wins by close decision against Holyfield from the first Lewis' fight, but losses in the rematch (by close decision)
    - Povetkin KO3 Grant
    - Povetkin KO6 Botha
    - Povetkin WUD12 Tua
    - Povetkin TKO9 prime Rahman
    - Povetkin KO6 shot Tyson
    - Povetkin LUD (wide) to Vitali

Only real threats to him on that list are
    1. Guys with cast iron chins like Mercer and Tua
    2. Vitali.
He loses to all three in my opinion.

I think Tua is gonna land a bomb or two at some point because he will count on his chin and take one to give one. We know Sasha can be dropped and I believe Tua hits harder than Joshua.

Mercer of the Lennox Lewis fight was throwing multi punch combinations, maintaining defensive responsibility and I thought he won that fight.

Vitali destroys him through speed, angles, jabs... basically everything that made Vitali, Vitali.

    Vitali - yes

    Holyfield and Mercer - probably

Briggs - NO WAY. Prime Briggs was KTFOed by Darrol Wilson, outboxed by 49 y.o. Foreman, dominated completely by McCline. Hell, prime Briggs got beaten by Cedrick Fields for Christ's sake! Povetkin would beat him easily

I think he would outwork Tua, Mercer would be tougher opponent since Ray was more skilled and much smarter comparing to Tua

Nope, not at all. In fact, I was a huge hater of him 5-10 years ago. But this guy deserves respect - he is an excellent boxer and real warrior

Loses one fight to Holyfield. Tua is concerning. Beats the rest. Including Vitali.

Whyte , Chagaev and Chambers are better than Vitali's best wins of Arroela , Peters and Hide.. Beating shot Byrd is the same as beating shot Sanders

He’d outwork Tua? Tua, the guy who up until very recently held the record for most punches thrown in a heavyweight bout against Ibeabuchi? I just don’t see it. Sasha averages forty two punches a round.

He'd come close to running the table, granted that you're putting a prime iteration of Povetkin in against every opponent. The quality of Lewis' resume gets overrated quite a bit but his longevity isn't. That's 11 years between the Ruddock and Vitali fights.

Tua was in the worst shape of his career and came into the fight with busted ribs, he only made it the distance because Lewis fought like a coward. Pov would take it to him and maybe even force a stoppage.
