Would be a great fight but I feel Griffith might be a bit too strong late on for Curry and win on points. Thoughts?

Griffith was a level above Curry and would stop him late.

They both would be on “Queeer Street”

Curry was excellent in his prime but probably drops a competitive decision.

Griffith...at least twice as strong as Curry with superior ring smarts....wins by either 15 round decision (with 2 kds), or 13th round stoppage.

Emile in a good bout. He might even get Curry out of there.

I think that Emile Griffith might employ a strategy similar to the one used by Lloyd Honeyghan in 1986. But Emile with more speed in his fighting prime would prove too much for a good boxer stationary Curry, who I really admired. I see Griffith stopping Donald by TKO 10.

I could be wrong, but I feel like the Split Decision King gets favored by stoppage way too often in fantasy matchups. The hardcore finishes from Paret III or Ortega II were a much rarer sight than the finishes where the ring announcer had to tell you who nicked the decision.

Griffith is stronger and that is his best path for victory here ....the thing to remember is that Donald Curry was an excellent infighter as well . In a 3 or 4 fight series, I could definitely see Curry winning 1.

Emile Griffith has more controversial wins than any fighter in history....more than Oscar Delahoya

Griffith's strength leads me to favour him.
