Let's face it, Lewis holds almost all the cards here.

In what ways is Foreman comparable to Vitali?

    :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

J.R can't read the thread clearly states Prime vs prime

Obviously to any one who isn't blind Lewis was not in his prime when he fought vitali and still won :good

You may of got the round right but the names wrong Lewis stops him :smoke

I don't compare the two stylistically really. I just think that Foreman's strong pressure would fluster Lewis and would inturn make the fight more of a slugfest than a regular Lewis.. jab, jab, right hand affair.

Don't matter to me if Lewis was in his prime back then or not, I just see Foreman's aggression and powerpunchng being able to open up Lewis both offensively and defensively and turning the fight into more of a sloppy brawl looking like somewhat of a mix beteen Foreman - Lyle and Lewis - Vitali.

All those taller dudes that you listed were straight up bums! I can't believe you have the nerve to mention Michael Grant? Michael Grant? LMAO...

Golota is not Lewis' height... I've never heard of Tyrell Biggs and Derek Williams so obviously these dudes were bums! Name a taller heavyweight that's worth mentioning. Vitali almost had Lennox out (but Lennox hit him on the break and caused the cut over the eye). Why didn't Lennox give dude a rematch? Because Lennox has no "heart"!

And I seen the whoopin that Mercer put on Lennox but Lennox somehow got the decision. Prime George vs Prime Lewis... George by TKO. He was too aggressive for Lewis and Lewis doesn't have the heart/chin to stand in there and trade em with Big George.

I can't be bothered to go over the plethoria of response-worthy remarks you made earlier, but i'd like to know why you (and many others) say Lewis doesn't have the "heart" to stand in with "Big" George. Lewis never quit nor showed any sign of quitting. Foreman got up at 9 against Ali and walked away, he was mentally beaten and had given up. How does that make Lewis' heart lacking compared to Foreman's?

I said Lennox doesn't have heart because of the war he was in with Vitali... somebody with heart would have given Vitali a rematch and not have walked away like that.

With that being said... Foreman would still KO Lewis.

Like I said in this very thread the answer is Lewis, here's why:

Forman never wanted any part of a fight against Lewis so Lennox wins the mental game before the fight ever happens.

    Lennox's jab is better

Lennox's power is around the same

    Lennox's conditioning was usually better

Lennox fought & beat bigger, taller fighters than himslef where Forman didn't

The heart argument is always a hilarious one people try to bring up against Lennox as a fault. Under no circumstances, did Lennox ever not show a lack of heart in his career.

And Lennox had many, many opportunities (Mercer, Briggs, Bruno, Klitschko, etc.) to throw it in, but not once, did he ever back down from anyone. In addition, Lennox fought EVERYBODY that would face him including fighters NO ONE would face (Tua, etc.).

Foreman was retired before Holmes on the map in the late 1970s.

In the 1990s, I would pick Foreman to beat Holmes.
