Its a good shout but who the hell wants this joke of a title?

Its a walking advert saying "hey look at me, i couldnt do much at HW so here i am"

I just want the division to fail miserably

No. Bridgerweight (terrible name btw) will probably be scrapped inside of a year. Sulaiman was banking on the notable Americans such as Wilder, Ruiz and Hunter entering the division but they’ve all rejected.

    Still doesn't much matters anything.
Murat is very tough and talented boxer, strong and durable + he is young and if in good shape, does have career time reserve too.
It doesn't change fact that he had catched Dorticos and therefore was capable to capitalise this to continue further beatup.
They might get changed roles there.
Not something unique like Shaver's power there.

Wilder is notable only in U.S and it is time to get that U.S is not all world.
Ruiz in excellent shape still not likely might make 225 lbs and be in good shape. Fury too.

    Not likely.
He was even in top 5 and had fought Klitschko, Povetkin and lost. Nothing wrong, he was not that bad.
Then he fought with small Briedis in russia get KTFO.
He definitely was not bad but he now is not noticed and does have some belt.

Wishful thinking my rowdy friend. More sanctioning fees=a permanent new title.

Could be good career wise, since he could win the vacant Bridger, which will be weak opposition wise. When he goes for Heavy, and if he wins a title at Heavy, he can market himself as a 3 weight world champion.

I was standing about 10 feet from the ring when Murat ended Jordan Shimmell's career with a left hook. Jordan is a nice kid who had sparred at our gym a few times and I was worried that he was gonna get put in a coma....he almost did. Gassiev has scary, scary power. His feet are a little slow, so sometimes he struggles to get himself in position to land shots, but when he does, look the **** out.

Stuff that likes me is his durability and toughness but he looked a bit crude in WBSS and there is not anything special in power, this isn't Shavers in CW package.
Might had seriously improved.;) Looks that he is willing to improve too.
Scary power ends if someone steps up enough high too.
    Didn't had sparred this one.

Cool story albeit I don't envy you because that's one of the nastiest KOs I've ever seen and definitely the nastiest one I've seen in a very long time. Shimmell was a decent amateur and he appears to have a solid chin too. But yeah, Gassiev has scary power and if he catches anyone clean with a shot like that they're going to sleep.

He was carrying a bit of blubber.

Anyway he was easily beaten by Usyk so I can't see him doing much at heavyweight.

Lets remember it's like the 3rd or 4th time Loma had injured his shoulder in the last 5 years, it makes me really upset as everything Loma will display from now on will be a far cry from his best version. His unorthodox technique caught up with him (more precisely his shoulders)

He is younger, hits harder, and carries the weight better. Also, his strengths- power, body punching, combination punching, will carry better.

Don't get me wrong, I think Usyk will do fantastic, but there is a certain amount of rocks, scissors, paper here that suggests that Gasseiv will do fine...

...provided the injuries heal. Which is why I want him to stop at bridger!

Bridger is just the new cruiser weight, in fact more of them will want to move up to heavyweight than cruiserweights who wanted to move to heavyweight.
