Not exactly a marvelous performance but that wasn't a bad win for his 9th fight, even going 10 rounds is further along than many others.

Being so tired after like 4 rounds is not the best sign though. I'm sure he'll talk to his pharmacist about that.

I haven't forgiven Yoka for the gifts he received in the Olympics against Joyce and Hrgovic and couple that with him being trained by Virgil Hunter and seeing those ugly Hunter fighter traits in him (which I cannot stand) just makes me wanna see him get his glass jaw shattered again lol

I'm not impressed with Yoka, I can't see him beating a fighter like Dubois, Hrgovic or Joyce at this moment of his carrer regardless of his great amateur career, if Milas had fought instead of Hammer Yoka would have had big problems ...

    He's 28 too.

He's no boy. Too old to learn everything he still MUST to learn. It gave me the impression that the guy is not a brilliant mind either, so regardless of the age, being dumb does not help.

He can prove us wrong, though. Let's see.

It was an alright fight. Nothing great but nothing bad either. Yoka kept landing on Hammer but Hammer didn't seem to respect his power until later in the fight. It wasn't that impressive of a performance for Yoka but to be fair, neither Povetkin nor Ortiz managed to KO this guy so he has a durable chin. Hopefully Tony will learn from this fight so he can grow to be a better boxer.

Can't say I was impressed by his performance, I can see why people are saying Chisora would merk him. Hammer was able to get to him with shocking ease, he didn't even need to jab his way in, just plod forward and throw and Yoka was there to be hit. I could see Chisora having no problem getting inside.

Yoka has some big holes in his game to fix. I didn't see any counter punching which is why Hammer could plow forward knowing nothing was coming back if Yoka was backing off. Yoka reminds me of young heavyweight version of Amir Khan, physically gifted, likes to get off first with his punches but then after throwing is defensively naive and just shells up to be hit, only thing Yoka does differently is Hunter has taught him to tie his opponent up instead of just standing there to be hit with his gloves up.

Well Hammer is pretty durable if nothing else.

Not sure how Yoka gets matched now.

Hes shown hes a step above this level, but a step above this level is essentially world class, which I'm not sure hes ready for.

I reckon the Takam fight could be big in France and be a legitimate scalp on his resume.

    Both also with TR

That would be a bad look if takam gave Yoka hell, Hrgovic would brain Takam in 5rounds.

Yoka isnt so much stiff (he kinda) but he just looks slow and very static in his movement. Bit of an eye sore really when you compare it to Furys footwork/speed, Wilders athletic right hands bursts, and even Joshuas movement in Ruiz. Hard to explain but I hate watching him fight/his style /pace.
