Don't you actually have to fight other P4P opponents or at least a few with an actual pulse to be considered that?

You have six once in a century fighters in the same century there, Chief. But you are on the right track. A once in a generation ie ten year period type fighter would include guys like Langford, Greb, B. Leonard, Armstrong, Charles, Robinson, Ali, Duran, R. Leonard, Jones Jr, Pacquiao. Crawford doesn't make the cut.

Speaking of the golden child, Floyd's career was really ignited by getting the torch passed to him by ODLH. Crawford never got that.

I wonder if, had he started out at WW, could he have convinced Pac, Marquez, or even Floyd to make a fight with him from 2014-2017. It's getting late now, but it would have made him a star then.

Speculation? Hahaha.. Usyk and Inoue are far more skilled that Crawford. Crawford does have good timing and balance I'll give him that (altho again this is not for sure as he's fought highly questionable opposition) Not only that these guys have been fighting at and above their natural weight class unlike the amerobum undisputed weight bully Crawford

    Once in a generation

Yet didn't step up till his late 20's?

    Still has no career-defining win?

Is only a few fights away from retirement?

    bum city

A once in a generation fighter shows his hand against top competition before he is 25. Not carefully managing his way through a career.

The word duck and Crawford don't even go together. Crawford didn't wanna fight Porter because of the friendship between them. That's his makeup. However, Porter has been crowing about the fight and Crawford said that since he's pushing it then it's a good fight so I expect for them to meet next. Crawford gon tear his ass up.

Yep, those guys have ambition and a go getter attitude. Langford had fought Joe Gans, Barbados Joe Walcott, Young Peter Jackson, Joe Jeanette, Stanley Ketchel, Sam McVey, and Philadelphia Jack O'Brien by the age of 25. Impetuous. Greb had already fought Tommy and Mike Gibbons, Jack Dillon, Battling Levinsky, and Billy Miske by that age. Benny Leonard had fought Johnny Kilbane, Johnny Dundee, Freddie Welsh, Jack Briton, Kid Lewis, and Charley White. Henry Armstrong had fought Baby Arizmendi, Midget Wolgast, and Benny Bass. Ezzard Charles had fought Ken Overlin, Teddy Yarosz, Anton Christoforidis, Charley Burley, Joey Maxim, Jimmy Bivins, Lloyd Marshall, and Archie Moore. No excuses.
