Both dubois and Joyce are likeable. I remember when Joyce was with Haye and they were arguing ringside with Chisora. Joyce looked so uncomfortable with the trash talking. He just seems like a great guy who likes to fight.

While the best name on Dubois resume is Gorman

    Well done Frank
I’d be F**ing furious if I was Dubois, he’s been sold a pack of lies by Warren about the methodology being used to build a boxing career. Remember Daniel was around 18 years old when Warren groomed him and sold him his services. Dubois needs to get away from him and find some reality at another gym with a different Manager/Promoter and maybe Trainer.

Bit before my time mate lol. But yeah, what's not to like about Joyce really. Inoffensive character. Maybe not the most interesting personality but certainly seems decent.

Dubois had never really been in a real fight before, especially one over that distance, and he was used to his opponents falling over in spectacular fashion when he detonated on their chins. Not only did Joyce take his power all night but he took it away from him half the time with his head movement ducking away to his left and I think that in addition to Joyce ramming his jab in his face all night demoralized him and made him doubt himself. He's only young and I don't hold him going out like he did against him.

Shows you how much i know. Knew dubois wasn,t the real deal but thought he,d beat joyce handily.

Joyce was excellent tonight tho. Lateral movement was very good offsetting dubois. Jab accurate all night as well.

Felt a bit sorry for dubois...its not really a quit job...more just a boy that didnt have the experience to fight a joe joyce. Going in i thought it was a hand picked fight for him...but in hindsight after watching that...he lacked the neccesary experience for joe. Take my hat off to both men tho...great to see two guys putting their undefeated record on the line for relatively small gain taking on a risky fight. Dubois will learn more from that than knocking over 5 or 6 stiffs. After tonight tho they need to build his experience now. Next 3 or 4 years be constantly active slowly upping the level.

Look at Pulev vs Klitschko, Pulev had a great jab but didn't have the size to land it consistently on the bigger Klitschko.

Everyone was going on about Dubois's amazing jab before the fight, I didn't see any of it tonight.

Joyce has those big legs that helps take the shots big time. His chin is helped by his stamina as soon as that goes his chin will follow. Agree he has 2 years to try and cause an upset. Id fancy his chances more against aj than i would against wilder. Fury would deal with joyce easily tho

Got it completely wrong but who the hell though Joyce was going to sit behind a jab all night?

Still think Dubois was winning the fight and he landed the big shots but Joyce just didn't budge!

Actually, the jabs were quite nice from Joyce. He throws them rather straight. No real telegraph.
But yea, Dubois had absolutely no answers for it.
    He didn´t jab with him.
    He didn´t adjust his guard.
He didn´t try to take it away with counters.

Looked like he tried to figure things out after he at a jab. Kept waiting for an opportunity that wasn´t there.
Well, he did let his hands go a few times and landed some nice counters, but those took a lot of effort from him. And he did not have enough stamina for that.

It's not a surprising result to me but I still wasn't real sure how the fight was gonna play out.

I’ve been saying for a long time that Dubois has faced a load of bums and will get found out at world level.

    said the same about yarde.

Warren is really bad at matchmaking!

Warren is at fault here. He's managed Dubois as if he had another Joshua on his hands whilst conveniently forgetting that Joshua is an Olympic level amateur with much better fundamentals.

It's just dumb having a guy fight guys who out completly out matched. The Japanese guy he fought was nothing short of a disgrace and did nothing for Dubois.
