Joyce is very fit as well. I mean 12 round fitness that a lot of boxers don't have, especially at heavyweight. Great fight though.

Yeah I’ve won a bit of profit too. 3 and 4-1 were crazy odds. Hope Joyce now gets the credit he deserves instead of the slow jibes and hope Dubois isn’t written off at the age of 23.

Experienced guy bests untested prospect. Of course!

he still looked ok, Joyce was just underestimated. Doesn’t matter how slow you hook if you’re jab is a reasonable speed.

I think people underestimated Joyce, including myself. His experience showed. He was composed and got himself out of trouble a couple of times after he took heavy shots. I think he has a good chin. He looked very stiff and respectful of dubois power early on.
    Good close fight.

He really impressed me with the way he rode the shots and would hold immediately at any slight sign of trouble.

I knew Joyce could win if he got beyond 6 rounds.

He may not be the easiest on the eye to watch box but he's got an elite chin, the best gas tank in the game and a bit of pop in his shots. Improved his head movement as scissors pointed out and tied up when he needed to. I think the footwork of Usyk and Fury is all wrong for him but he's giving everyone else a hell of a fight.

I just won a couple of hundred quid on that. It was always going to be Joyce’s fight the further it went.

Tonnes of respect for Dubois for his interview. He didn’t have a clue what to say but he didn’t come up with any lies at least. He quit but I like him a lot more after tonight. Hopefully he can regroup and challenge in a couple of years. After all 23 is a foetus for heavyweights, unless you’re a freak like Tyson.

Well done Joe, looks as slow as hell but he can take a shot and will wear many men down.

That's how it's got to start being. Fighters shouldn't just be written of because of a loss, that's why some fights don't happen because they're worried the defeat sets their careers back too much.

Both guys put the 0 on the line and put on a good fight. Happy days for everyone.

Dubois just needs to learn from where he went wrong and come back stronger.

Thing that I find amazing, he took some very good shots and his face didnt mark up much at all during the fight

That journalist has just copied what some random off twitter said.

Dubois was 1 up on one card (Lyson), 5 up on another (Latham) and 3 down on the other (Loughlin).

Maybe the power is/was a bit of a myth?
